"Every cloud has a silver lining." It means that even in the darkest place, there is still hope.

Gilda Armstrong. The silver lining of Earth.

Screams fill the air. Blood splattered onto the ground, dyeing the once clean floor. The world has shattered into pieces like a broken mirror. All the rules and laws human set for the society are now wild lions that escaped from their cages.

The nightmare is here. Zombies once only belonged to stories, but they now also belong to Earth.

The planet becomes a zombie-infested wasteland. A harsh and unforgiving place. Does that mean true love will never exist?

Gilda is a genius in the eyes of the world, weapon in the eyes of the powerful who find her valuable. She knows that she is a target, but she never bothered to find out the secrets that lied under the surface. She just wants to live a peaceful life as long as she can, enjoying her time with her family.

However, fate has its own plans. She now has to survive the zombie apocalypse with her sister, and find her parents. But no one said will be easy. Especially when the still powerful people continues hunting for all the geniuses that can help them control the broken world. Some of the geniuses are her. And him, her silver lining.

Will she survive? Will she be free from the hunt?

Most importantly, who is "him"?
