WARNING! VIOLENCE AHEAD!

As it turns out, Night shift is actually pretty hard. Emily was quite tired, but still managed to keep herself awake during her shift. If anything, the night shift turned out to be quite boring! "Really shouldn't have volunteered to do this." She grumbled. "I mean, I'm losing sleep just to walk around and make sure nothing happens. Whoopie." She said sarcastically, as if no one was listening. Emily yawned and was making her way towards the main gate to trade shifts with her brother, Shane, when she heart a twig crack behind her. She wanted to run, but the curiosity inside the Shiny Zoroark got the better of her. She turned around, and after a quick moment of deliberation, made her way into the woods where the noise had come from.

"Hello?" Emily frantically looked for some pokemon who made the noise. There was a Leafeon, clutching his left leg. "Are you alright? What happened?" She knelt down by him. The leafeon looked up at her. "Wow... Any mon ever tell you you're pretty?" He says with a flirty tone. "Don't try me, bud. You're hurt, but I'm already taken." Emily grumbled. "Oh, I don't really care if you've got anyone..." He snapped to his feet and knocked her over. He whistled and three more pokemon emerged from the shadows; A Vaporeon, a Machoke, and a Greninja. "W-Who are you...?" Emily backed away frantically as fear was taking over. "This'll be fun~" The Greninja chuckled. "And luckily, wolf boy isn't here to stop me!" Emily's eyes widened. "You're that guy who made a pass at Cairo, aren't you?" She was terrified, knowing there was one confirmed creep with most likely three others. "She looks ready to shit 'er pants, Donny." The Vaporeon nudged the Machoke. "Shut it, Vance. Let's just get to it, It won't be fun if we wait any longer. And I think I should go first since I'm hands down the best looking here!" As the four laughed and three of them, all except the Machoke, advanced and ganged up on Emily, forcing her down. "Whenever you're ready, Donny?" The Leafeon asked with a grin. However, there was no answer. A quiet whispering could faintly be heard, but to the ears of the others, it was lost in the night's wind. This eerie silence was followed by a pained grunt and a few coughs. The three flinched and loosened their grip on Emily, who scurried back against a tree. The three others exchanged nervous glances. "Either of you scared to look?" Vance, the Vaporeon, gulped. "Well, I vote Quin looks first." The Greninja piped in. "Why don't you do it instead? Your idea, Dex!" Quin, the Leafeon, grumbled. "How about you worry more about your friend here?" A heavily distorted voice said from behind them. All three turned their heads to find a shadowy figure, dressed what obviously was meant to make him sneak around easier, almost like... "Holy Shit! This guy's one of them! He's one of them Assassins we were warned about!" Vance's legs shook before his jeans suddenly had a noticeable wet patch in the "Down Under" area. And what of Donny? The figure was holding him, arm around neck. Even in the faint light, you could see the blade of a katana piercing the chest of the Machoke, as blood ran down his chest and soaked his white tank top to the point where the front was no longer white below the ribs. "Bastard!" Dexter, the (perverted) Greninja, charged, only to run face-first into the boot of the figure, dropping him like a one thousand degree potato. The figure sheathed the katana after taking it out of the machoke's chest, then dropping the large pokemon. Donny was dead before he hit the ground. The Vaporeon and the Leafeon both rushed him, one with leaf blade, the other with Aqua jet. "You know moves. Unfortunately, that won't save you." The voice says again. It ducked Quin's leaf blade and sidestepped Vance's aqua jet, now holding two aura spheres. "This is a REAL attack!" He fired both spheres. The two had enough time to turn their heads enough to see it coming from the corner of their eyes, and the aura attack hit both of them square in the back, knocking Vance to the ground and Quin flying against a tree.

The figure looked around, seeing Emily. He stepped over to her, but she backed away more. "Don't come near me! I don't know you!" She shuddered. The figure sighs, "As you will." before returning his focus to the three assailants on the ground. Vance and Dex were on all fours, trying to regather themselves, while Quin had yet to get off his back, just muttering to himself, probably just bitching and moaning about how bad of an idea this was. When Dex and Vance stood, the figure drew a weapon, a bow, and fired two quick arrows, one hitting Vance in the knee, the other hitting Dex in the shoulder. Both yelled in pain, Vance falling onto his back again, rolling around in agony, while Dex pulled the arrow out and snapped it over his knee. "I-It's just a flesh wound. My turn now!" He arrogantly stated, yet he was still looking like his left arm wasn't going to be much help. "Sure." The shadow-like being said while he calmly marched over to the visibly terrified greninja and punched him right in the gut. "You won't do shit. Sit down and let me deal with you last. According to Vance, This was your idea. So I've decided you get the honor of seeing how it plays out." The statement was followed by some small, somewhat sadistic laughter. As if he wasn't terrifying enough already...

The figure walked over to a still grounded Quin. "You..." The leafeon coughed, still not moving. Judging from the lack of movement of the lower body, Quin probably had broken his lower back. "You gonna kill me?" A nod from the figure. "You probably paralyzed me, so I guess it's extending me mercy at this point... But can you do one...*coughing*...thing for me?" The figure tilted his head. "Go on." "Give Dex a good thrashing before you kill him. He brought us along in case that Lucario from Omega was here. But instead we ran into you. Also, a second request..." The figure nodded, then growled at the last part. "I don't do 2nd last requests." He grabbed the hilt of the katana and began drawing it when Quin told him, "Please, make it quick. That's my final request." The leafeon closed his eyes. He thought to himself, 'Maybe my willingness to die will make him stall and then buy me a few more minutes of living... he may even spare me because of what i said! I think I can... AUGH!' His thought process was interrupted... well, was actually stopped dead in its tracks. Because it's hard to think if you have a sword straight through your heart, leaving you a broken, bloody, and nonetheless dead mess. This figure walked over to Vance, who propped himself against a tree. The Vaporeon used all his remaining energy to lunge at the Figure, pulling the hood down, but not the face covering. From the top of the head, you could tell this was also a Lucario. "Wha...? Wait... you're..." Vance came to the realization of who this was, but before he said it out loud, the Lucario assassin grabbed his bad knee and spiked it against the tree, then lifting both legs, picking him up, and slamming him back first to the ground. The lucario dragged him over to a tree stump, where he set the lower leg of the Vaporeon. He then stood on the stump, staring down at Vance. The look of fear in his eyes only fuelled the fire in the Assassin. The Lucario chuckled menacingly, then brought his boot down right on the ankle of the Vaporeon with a sickening "Snap!", followed by more pain filled yells.

Dragging him back in front of Dex, the Assassin's expression couldn't be read until he removed the tinted visor in front of his eyes, revealing his icy blue gaze. The eyes were full of rage and anger. "I have something special planned for you now." He said to Vance, voice still heavily modulated, as the Vaporeon clutched his shattered left ankle. The Lucario pulled a thin, yet strong cable from one of the pouches attached to his belt. He came over to Vance, pulling him a few feet away from Dex. He held both legs together, then crossed the left over the right, followed by wrapping the cable around both legs below the knees. He then took a second cable and his katana. He stuck the blade in the ground, then stuck one end of the second cable between the one wrapped around Vance's legs, then tied it around the hilt of the sword, effectively stopping him from crawling anywhere. Kneeling on all fours, he was now wincing as every movement he made caused pain in the ankle. "What're you planning?" Dex watched, fearing the same would be done to him. "Oh, you'll see." The lucario chuckled. "You take so much pleasure in seeing others hurt and die. You're a monster!" Dex shook his head. "A Monster? No, I'm the Judge, Jury, and Executioner. I rid the world of scum like you, who tried raping a poor girl from another survivalist clan. Therefore, I'm the jury, and I find all of you guilty. I'm the Judge, I sentence you to death. I'm the executioner." He said while staring coldly at Dex. "and?" Vance asks. "What do you mean 'And?'." The figure growled. "You had an 'and' statement after the last two. Why not after the executioner part?" The figure knelt, placing an arrow in the ground, with the sharp tip facing the sky. "Time for lust, no time to lie, Time to kiss your life goodbye." Vance just realized he was staring straight down the arrow's shaft. The Assassin backed up, then ran forward, placing his foot on the back of Vance's head and forcing it down. As it just so happens, the arrow was right beneath his left eye. After the curb stomp, Blood and bodily fluids were pouring from his head. Dex vomited heavily at the sight. Emily, who watched while leaning against a nearby tree, felt uneasy seeing this.

Dex breathed heavily. "Who are you, really?" He asked, terrified. The assassin looked down at the ground. "Fine. I guess you deserve it." The Lucario pushed a button on a small device under his facial covering, then pulled it down to reveal his identity. Dex grumbled. "You look familiar. Almost like that bastard who kicked me in the head..." The Purple Lucario flipped the Greninja over onto his stomach. "You're referring to Ricardo Rhodes. You're weak enough to get your ass kicked by him without breaking a sweat. Anyways, that 'Bastard' is my twin brother." Emily's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "My name is Lukarin Rhodes. Brother to Ricardo and Austin, Son to Jaire and Amber Rhodes, and, most importantly, I am the enforcer of the greater good. As the night falls, death and suffering calls. I'm the clock, so 'Tick Tock', my friend. Too late, Time's up, here comes the Bitter End." Luke recited after turning on his voice modulator again. Luke kneed him in the gut, then jumped up, grabbing him around the neck and lifting up both knees near Dex's face, and upon falling to the ground and landing on his back, the impact made both knees forcefully slam into Dex's face, and he collapsed on the ground after the impact. "You deserve so much pain and torture for what you've done." Luke growled. "Luckily for you, I'll make the pain quick, but you won't die in the most masculine of ways." Dex looked both scared as shit as well as confused. Before he could ask what he meant, Luke drew a knife and thrust it in between Dex's legs, stabbing the one spot that no guy wants to be stabbed. Dex's blood curdling cry of terror could've woke up someone in Omega's camp, hell it probably woke up anyone in a five mile radius! Dex's cries persisted or about two minutes before Luke just got sick of them. "That was revenge for Emily. But I'm not satisfied anymore. Just annoyed. So, Dexter Yamamoto, Tick Tock, Time's Up." Luke said as he swiftly drew his katana and ran it through the throat of the Greninja, who tried saying something, but the blade ruptured his vocal chords and was left with blood spilling from this throat and making choking sounds. When he ceased moving, Luke let go of the hilt and walked over to the tree that Emily Rosario was currently leaning against.

Emily sat in shock. Not only had her boyfriend just showed up out of nowhere, more or less save her from four rapist pokemon, and brutally and shamelessly murder all four of the aforementioned assailents. "Luke?" Emily found the strength to stand, limping over to him. Luke deactivated the modulator. "Emily, how'd you get here? How..." He began, but she cut him off. "Luke, how're you alive? What's with the getup? What's going on?!" She slowly began breaking down as she was hesitant to touch him at the moment. "I told you I'd see you again. I'm a mon of my word, Em. And I saved you because obviously, anything between us hasn't changed." He said with a small grin, yet a familiar look in his eyes that usually meant he had an idea. Not necessarily a good one, but nonetheless a fun as hell one. Such is the trade-off one must make. "What're you thinking?" Emily smiled as she thought about his words. "I think you know. It's nothing new. Just know I have to be gone before Daybreak." He cautioned. "That's a few more hours. And that's all we need, isn't it?" She was getting a bit excited. Luke was a rebellious individual and usually did things that pissed off authorities. He got a thrill out of it. But on the surface, there was no authority. "No bossy bitchass officers? No guards? Basically no rules. I say we do whatever the hell we want. Whaddaya say, Em?" He smiled in the convincing way he always did when he was persuading someone.

Emily looked back at the camp, then to him, and back again. "I can't right now. I need time to think." She said with a bit of pain behind her voice. "Why?" Luke asked calmly. "Shane's up here, plus, there's eighteen other pokemon with us. I can't just leave. I thought you were dead, then you show up, very much not-dead, and then you expect me to just go along without questions?" Emily was a bit teary eyed. Luke sighed, walking back to Dex's body and pulled his katana from the Greninja's throat. "You have Six Peaceful days to decide. On day Seven, I may pay your camp a little Visit. That'll be your last chance. I don't want to hurt Ricardo. I really don't want to hurt Austin. I sure as hell don't want to hurt you. But orders are orders, and only because of my interference have you and the other survival groups not been labeled as hostiles." Luke sounded dead serious, meaning he wasn't doing this because he wanted to threaten her. "On whose orders? Why would we be hostile? And Why are you, the guy who made a name for himself disobeying orders, following someone's now?!" Emily was becoming more and more angry at him. "I joined to survive." Luke confessed. "JOINED WHO?! YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN THE LONE WOLF, NOW YOU'RE JUST SOMEONE'S LAPDOG!" She snapped, prompting Luke to draw the katana and make an upward slashing motion. Emily didn't flinch. She didn't even care that it had missed her face by about an inch or two. "And then you go and do that. I'm sorry, Luke. You're not you anymore. MY Luke would never do anything like join a faction of criminal outcasts. Leave. Come back when you're yourself again." She said before an eerie silence set in. Both of them just stood there, glaring at the other. Luke reactivated his voice modulator and re-masked and hooded himself, giving her one last look. "Six days. Please, don't let me down." He said with almost a sad look in his eyes. He put the visor back on, then Emily turned around to get out of the woods, but then out of nowhere, Luke's forearm struck the back of her neck, causing her to black out. Luke's arm shook as he looked down. "I know that didn't kill you. I just can't risk you following me if you're this mad." He sounded full of regret, yet it had to be done. "Orders are orders. Follow them if you value your rank." His Boss' voice rang in his head. "I'm doing exactly as Kross said to do, But look where that's gotten me. On Arceus, Emily I hope you make the right choice..." He said as he carried her back to the encampment, setting her by the wall. "Unfortunately, I can't have you following me either. It was this or risk restraining you and you making noise. I hope you understand. Joining them was my only hope for survival. I'm trying to save you, Em. When you wake up, I hope you come to your senses." He says before marching up to the gate and kicking it opened, and also knocking it clean off.

The noise, amazingly, only woke one individual. That happened to be AJ. The riolu saw the gate lying about 40 feet from where it belonged. He went to investigate why the door was so far away. Upon reaching the gate, he saw a passed out Emily and a tall, shadow-like figure. "Hey, Mister. You kinda kicked our gate door off. That wasn't very nice." He said innocently with a bit of a pouty lip in a guilt trip attempt. "Look kid, I found four brainless idiots trying to molest her. I saved her life. I think the gate is the least of your..." The figure was cut off by AJ. "Are you sorry?" Luke blinked a few times, as if processing what AJ said. "Helloooo? Mister? Are you sorry?" Luke resisted every urge to slap the kid upside the head. Of all times to be annoying, now was probably the worst of them. Luke, trying his hardest to maintain composure, respond in a frustrated manor, "Fine, kid! I'm sorry. Just get her inside and make sure she recovers." Then he added in, "If she doesn't remember... I'm giving you the gift of time. How you use it determines your fate. Six days. Tick Tock." He said before AJ turned to see if anyone else was up. "Whaddaya mean Tick... Tock?" AJ turned his head back to where the figure had been, only for it to have vanished when he looked the other way. "Whelp, let's getcha inside then!" AJ hoised the Zoroark onto his shoulders and carried to the shelter/tent (Whatever you wanna call it. It's too big to be a camping tent but not big or sturdy enough to be a cabin. Like a Jumbo sized tent!) she was supposed to sleep in. Setting her down carefully, AJ thought about going to get Cairo to check on her, seeing how Cairo had more medical experience than anyone else there. Upon going to her shelter, however, he found that she wasn't there. AJ decided against getting her to help when he peeked inside his brother's tent and only saw a pile of clothing on the floor. "Welp. Perfect. My brother slept with our medic when we have our first real medical issue." AJ said to himself. "What issue? Why're you up so early?" Shane's voice startled AJ, who jumped from the scare, but didn't make a sound. "You have gotta stop showing up out of the shadows, dude! It freaks out everyone!" AJ whispered. Shane shrugged. "Can't really help it. Where's Em? I checked and she's not out there... Wait, you're not saying..." He moved hastily past AJ and found Emily in her shelter. Shane sat in there quietly with his sister's unconscious body for about half an hour. In the meantime, AJ made some s'mores out of boredom. He brought a plate with two fresh ones in. "Hungry?" He asked. Shane shook his head. "How'd I let this happen?" AJ poked his head in. "Soooo you don't want any? I mean, I'd eat them buuuut I might've already eaten like Five... ok, Eight. Totally eight. Wait... Upon careful reinspection, I ate twelve of em." All the time, Shane was just sitting quietly, looking at Emily. "As soon as Cairo wakes up, send her in here. I'm not leaving until I know Emily's going to be alright." AJ nodded, going back out and putting some more wood on the fire. Shane came out of the shelter and went to the gateway. "I'm standing guard. Get some sleep. Tomorrow will come faster than you expect." And as it turned out, AJ was also more tired than he expected, because the minute he lied down, he passed out into the sweet escape of sleep.
