"Wait for me, love, for I am soon to be home"

Two lonely little lovebirds through the storm
The snow has thickened, its hail loud and strong
Two lonely little lovebirds broke into a song
"If I keep at it, even when weak, I'll make it home"

Two lonely little lovebirds braved the storm
The snow has let up to reveal the sun so low
Two lonely little lovebirds, lonely they are no more
"It's been a journey, love, but now I am home"
