I hid under the window as I heard the man said "I got them!, They all fall for the same trick Everytime!" He exclaimed laughing as I then peeked up to the window to see him drive off. Tears began the roll down my eyes, 'No....not again...I'm not going to lose another child!' my thoughts panicked as I then ran downstairs grabbing my keys, 'I need to follow that truck!' I thought and without wasting anytime I ran outside and got into my car and drove off trying to find where that damn ice cream truck is.

    Memories began to flashback right back to me at the beginning....

      "Thank you for coming (Y/N) on such short notice!" Jay's mother exclaimed, I smiled and walked in "thank you for agreeing to take care of Jay while we're gone" she added "it's no problem, where is he to be exact?.." I asked "he's upstairs in his room, hasn't been himself since his friends had gone missing..." Jay's father said. I frowned softly feeling symphony for the boy, "he'll come out of his room eventually, now I left some frozen pizza in the freezer incase you get hungry okay?" She said, I nodded as they left.

      I then went upstairs to meet Jay, I knocked on the door softly before I heard a mumble "come in...", I opened the door and saw the kid which I assumed it was Jay. He had his head down on the desk by his computer, I then saw that he had newspapers of two kids that had gone missing. "Are these your friends?..." I asked and he softly hums 'mm-hmm'. I sighed as I rubbed his back, "don't worry ... I'm sure the police finds them..." I said with a reassured tone, "they won't...." I heard Jay mumble which made me a bit sad, I was trying to give him hope but it feels like he had lost all hope. "I'll be in the other room, hollar if you need anything.." I said and walked out of his room closing the door behind me, I walked into the guest room and laid on the bed.

I then begin to trace back to my memories...

          I was fifteen at highschool, freshman to be exact. I wasn't the popular type neither wasn't an outcast, I just exist that's all, I was really confident and smart minded as a child. I was outside writing deep thoughts into my notebook until I heard crying, I looked up to see two boys around my age bullying a young overweight kid, I then got up putting my notebook down and went towards them and yelled "HEY!! LEAVE HIM ALONE!", They looked at me and laughed "wow the Cow has a girl defending him?" Boy number 1 said, as the other boy laughed "oh yeah?, How is she gonna stop us? She's only a girl" they said and laughed. This made me boil with anger I pushed them away, "oh that's it bitch!" The boy number 1 yelled and ran towards me trying to lay a punch but I instinctively dodged and tripped them, the second boy came running and I punched his eye. "If I ever see you near him again, I won't take mercy!" I yelled "now get. Out. Of. Here" I said in a stern voice as the two boys ran off, I looked back at the overweight boy as he was shaking and crying he was covering his eyes, I walked towards him and held my hand out, he shyly opened one eye and looked up at me. He then slowly reach his hand out and held my hand, I smiled and helped him up "I'm (Y/N) and you?.." I said, he blushed softly and said "I'm Rod..." He said shyly. "Nice to meet you, do you wanna maybe play?.." I asked, he smiled and nods "o-okay!" He said.

  'something tells me we're going to be friends..' I thought.

Then I opened my eyes...

      I woke up and looked around, "how long was I asleep?..." I asked myself and looked at the time. It was 6 pm I then got up and head out of the guest room, I noticed Jay's room was open, 'oh he's out of his room..' I thought and went downstairs to see him by the front door having the door a little open, "Jay?.." I called in confusion and he quickly closed the door. He looked at me and said "yes?.." I chuckled nervously, "what are you doing?.." I asked, Jay just smiled nervously "nothing just...uh.. checking for a package.." he said lying, I nod and went to the kitchen, I could've sworn I heard a scream, and ran off to see Jay running to the Ice cream truck but a man with a ice cream helmet caught him.

   I ran towards them, "I gotcha now you little punk!" He laughed, "Stop!" I yelled, the man dropped Jay as he then ran behind me, "I don't know what your doing, but no one lays a finger on this kid!" I yelled as I stepped towards the man, "oh dear I am so sorry ma'am, I-I was just trying to make him stay out of trouble, he was about to probably pop a tire from my van" he lied, but I wasn't a fool, "Liar!, Jay wouldn't do that he's a nice boy" I said in anger.

     Then all of a sudden...

       The man put his hands on my shoulders and said, "then you leave me no choice, I can't have any witnesses" he said laughing maniacally, My eyes widen and I screamed as I felt a cold air as everything went dark...I didn't know what was happening to me...
