(Readers POV)

It was the night. Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury were getting ready for the dance. Cinder got done putting on some makeup and she turned to me.

Cinder: How do I look?

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

(Y/N): Just perfect.

I said with obvious sarcasm in my voice. She just smiled at me.

Cinder: Do you have the hard drive?

I reached for my back pocket and pulled it out. I showed it to her. Cinder smiled and said that they should be going.

Cinder: Good luck, Dabi.

The three left and I sighed. I looked at the hard drive and I clenched it.

(Y/N): I'm going to be in and out.

I walked out and took a longer route outside. I didn't want to run into anyone. I went outside and I made my way to the Communication Tower in the darkness. I walked up to the tower and got in front of it.

Guard: Hey! You can't be here!

I sent a wave of blue fire towards him. He fell down to the ground and passed out from the heat. The other guard tried to stop me, but I did the same thing to him.

(Y/N): Too easy.

I walked in and I saw more guards. I surround myself in flames and started to spread them around the entire room. All the guards passed out by the flames burning the oxygen away. I got rid of the fire so the building doesn't burn down. I walked to the elevator and went to the top floor. I waited and the elevator got to the top floor. The door opened and there were no guards up here, making my job a bit easier.

(Y/N): Let's see here. Found it.

I walked up to the main computer. I inserted the hard drive and the screen turned on. It showed a red screen with a black chess piece in the middle. The screen turned off and I pulled out the drive.

(Y/N): Guess I don't need you anymore.

I burned away the hard drive and it turned to ash. I heard the elevator ding. I thought I wasn't being followed. I hide quickly and I waited for someone to walking. I saw that girl that I ran into earlier. She was wearing a dress and tripping every so often.

Ruby: Is anyone there?

I guess I'm safe, it's just the little girl. I got up and faced her.

Ruby: What are you doing here?

She didn't recognize me because the darkness hiding my features. I raised my hand and was about to attack. I heard the elevator ding again. The girl looked back to see who it was. I used the opportunity to run to a window and melt it. I jumped down and started to run. I ran inside Beacon. I got out a tie and I putted it on. I burned the coat I was wearing. I walked in the dance room and went to find Cinder. I found her dancing with Mercury.

(Y/N): Excuse me. May I have this dance.

They nodded at me and Cinder walked up to me. We started to dance together.

Cinder: You do look better than I thought. Was it a success?

(Y/N): Yeah. No one suspects a thing.

Cinder: Good job. You did do it really fast. I'm surprised.

(Y/N): So what now?

Cinder: We wait. It's that simple.

I saw some guards walk in and looked around. They left shortly after. Guess they didn't find who they were looking for.

(Y/N): Can we stop dancing now?

Cinder: No. We have to look natural. So you are dancing.

(Y/N): I'm getting tired though.

Cinder: Then I guess your sleep schedule is going to get a little wonky.

I sighed and just looked around the room. Seeing all these people happy and just having fun. I saw Shoto just talking to that white haired girl. I think she is a Schnee. I will have to find out later.

(Time skip)

The dance finally finished. I was walking to my dorm room and opened the door. I walked over to my bed and laid down on it.

Cinder: Good job, Dabi. Did I already tell you that?

(Y/N): Yeah, you did.

Cinder: Well it does need to be repeated. You did really well. I guess it wasn't a mistake to bring you along.

I rolled to my side and tried to ignore them.

Cinder: Don't act like that. We are just praising you a job well done.

(Y/N): Cool. Now let me go to sleep.

I guess I will be waiting along time until I get to do something again. I'm going to be bored out of my mind.
