Part VI: Violet

The receptionist brought him to his seat as he watched Herring practice his swift movements and stances as he punched the air. "Isn't the match about to start?" Piros asked as he shifted his focus on the receptionist.
"The other competitors hadn't signed up yet." The receptionist explained.
"Strange." Piros murmured as he sat at the front row while the receptionist walked away with hus hands on his back.

Ppalgan grumbled when he walked past Ruben II and Ratu while they headed their way to the tournament. Jacinto walked to the stadium when he saw a chubby, bearded man with peachy skin and a round face walk to the reception to take down the closed sign to attend a maiden with a purple hanfu and lilac belt with a cherry blossom pattern as she waved her fan.

"Welcome, little lady! How may I help you?" The receptionist inquired with a serene smile plastered on his face.
"I would like to compete in the tournament." Violet responded as her eyes examined him by his demeanor.
"This tournament is not meant for lovely maidens such as yourself." The receptionist replied in a syrupy voice, until Violet flourished the tips of the poison darts on the ribs of her fan. "I assure you, I was once a Morean Maiden before becoming a mercenaress, but I also left my dark past behind. Would you be so kind to pass the form? I don't want to backslide." She lightly fanned herself whilst she intimidated him with a blank stare. He quickly passed the form for her to sign, including an additional form that firmly states that the members of the stadium will not be held responsible for any deaths that occur in the arena. With an additional clause that iterates that the result of killing an opponent will be met with permanent expulsion and that files will be charged against the aggresor for violating the terms and regulations established.

Violet closed her fan to sign the forms with a quill which she dipped in ink before signing. "Thank you for your cooperation, sir." She said before leaving the reception. Jacinto became disillusioned at the woman who stole his heart.

He entered to the reception to check on the man, "Are you alright, sir?" Jacinto asked.
"I'm fine, lad. I feel fresh as a lettuce." The receptionist quipped, maintaining his zen. "Are you here to compete as well? We need one more participant for the match to start." The receptionist said before Ruben II and Ratu came in.
"We're here!" The large ginger said in a bated breath, Ratu in tow. The runt placed his hands on the desk, looking at the receptionist.
"I'm here to compete." The receptionist stroked his beard whilst he examined the boy. "Did you come with your parents?" He asked.
"I'm his legal guardian." Ruben II responded as he came forward, "Where do I sign?"
"How old are you?" The receptionist cocked an eyebrow.
"Nineteen." Ruben II confirmed, he would turn twenty in two months, but that was beside the point. The bearded receptionist brought the form authorizing that the minor should participate in the tournament following the rules and regulations regarding the minor's condition, notifying the staff members of the stadium of any health conditions or allergies that the minor may have. Once that Ruben finished reading the form, he signed it, and he allowed Ratu to sign his name in the form agreeing to the terms that entailed and an additional form for Ruben to sign to confirm to claim who says he is. After signing with quill and ink, the receptionist put the stamp of approval to ensure that the forms are legitimate.

"It's official, your child is allowed to compete in the Auctorian Stadium." The receptionist confirmed. Ruben II and Ratu celebrated their success with a high five. "The Collaboration Colosseum is now underway." The bearded receptionist gave a wink as he took the forms.

"Wait! I want to buy a ticket." Jacinto requested. "Me too!" Ruben II added.
"Right this way." The receptionist brought them to the booth. "That'll be Ř300." A hefty price to pay for the sake of entering, Ruben glared at the cynical Buddha smile of his.

A gem that was embedded above the entrance emitted a red light before they were transported to another dimension without their knowledge. For the citizens of Meno, the Alvonian Stadium was just another abandoned infrastructure.

Thanks for taking the time to read this sixpence of a story. The reason it took so long is that 4 out of my 6 OCs are from the Iridian Dimension.

The rest of the backstories are underway.
