I stepped down the stairs, following him. Graffiti stamped every inch of the wall on both sides, leaving no space bare. I would have loved to explore each drawing if it were any other day. But now my sole focus was on the tall guy walking before me.

He didn't turn around to acknowledge me, not even once. We climbed down the stairs to a double door, light filtered out through the small windows on the door and long handles were placed on both the flaps. He pushed them open and I followed behind.

Grafitti lined the inside of the underground hall, ramps were raised out of the ground, build in various patterns.

Our unannounced arrival was not welcomed by the occupations here. I saw a chair crash to the floor, my mouth agape as I saw a football floating in air. But all movement stopped with the sound and every person in the skate park focused their eyes on us.

There were people of mixed age group present at this late hour in the hall, all looking at me worriedly as commotion started brewing.

" I trust her, I am confident" I snapped my head to Zane as he yelled each word echoing. But his words weren't directed at me.

A girl with chin long blue hairs stepped up from the crowd, fixing Zane with a hard stare.

" What is she doing here, we decided to give it another day" the girl bit out her words.

" She broke into a station Orena. I think that is proof enough" Zane countered with a tone laced in anger.

At that her eyes snapped to me as she looked me up and down with calculating eyes. " Are you stupid or it that common in Athesy" she spoke and I narrowed my eyes at her. Zane telling me that was another thing but this girl with the attitude of a dictator is no one to call me anything. I glared at her openly showing my dislike for her.

" You were snooping at the wrong place and you could have gotten killed" she hissed at me, her eyes flashing.

" I did what I had to do and you are no one to question me for that" I snapped back at her returning her glare.

She glared right back at me as if assessing how long I will take to break, but I didn't back down.

A few seconds later she broke off her glare and eased to a stare. I blinked back as a tiny, barely-there smile twitched at her lips.

She visibly eased her posture and nodded at Zane. " I believe her" she said simply still looking at me. I drew my brows together in confusion.

" What do you want to know, ask away," she said as she moved to a ramp, taking a seat at a flat concrete cube. Everyone went back to their work and I followed her example, I sat across from her drawing my legs together.

I nibbled on my bottom lip as I contemplated telling her anything.

But she could be my answer to everything.

I swallowed the nerves and blurted out the thing that could be my doom.

" Colourless, what do you know about them?" I asked in a straight voice, canceling the hesitation in my voice.

" Do you have a color?" she questioned me instead and I analyzed her statement.

Their each word was making me reach harried conclusions, making the hope glow in my chest.

" Yes I do" I answered, and waited for her to say something.

" Then whom are you asking for," she asked outright and I pursed my lips. Tension coiled in my body at her statement.

She waited for a few seconds before her eyes softened in understanding and the emotion looked foreign with her fierce look.

" Colourless are the ones who lack color, not the power but the tint. Their color is transparent." A guy came to stand beside her as explained in an even voice. He had cocoa brown skin and a pair of glasses propped on his nose.

" Jarek" he extended his hand and I shook it with a dazed look while exchanging my name.

Suddenly when all was before me I couldn't comprehend anything, my composure slipped as I tried to form a coherent thought.

" Transparent Unscripted, that is what it meant in the blog" I whispered out as if the wind might snatch my secrets with it.

" I knew it would work and someone will come looking" he commented with a proud smile. But I just sat there in confusion.

" Are there more-, colorless" I hesitated before asking. I looked at him for an answer but Orena spoke instead.

" Yes, this town has plenty of them"

My eyes widened at that and suddenly it became hard to breathe as tears licked at my eyes, all the search and we finally did it.

" Ariel, this is no paradise for colorless, we are not in Urydale because we want to." she interpreted my reaction before continuing and my face fell at her remark.

" What do you mean?" I took in a shuddering breath.

" We are not here by consent, we were dragged here along with our families. Anyone who is identified as colorless is brought here and then left to rot, cut away from the rest of the country." here words were like a whip of harsh reality striking at me.

" Why, who would do that"

" The government" she replied in an obvious tone, but I was not satisfied.

" What do you mean government. Azure is a democratic country, no one can do that and get away with it. Every citizen has rights" I robbed further as I countered her with my firm belief. I ma confident in my country and proud of it, no one would dare to do this.

" There are about a hundred colorless in this town Ariel, none of which want to be here" she narrowed her eyes with me. But whatever she said I just couldn't trust her. My father and Kayden both work in the government and if something like this is going on then they would have caught a whiff of it.
