**Yami P.O.V**

It had been a couple years now since the incident with Bakura. Yugi had made a full recovery and he had turned completely normal and back into my beautiful Aibou now that the darkness no longer remained in his heart.

He was a happy smiling boy again and I fell in love with his perfect face everyday that I woke up beside him in bed together.

He graduated yesterday and I was right in the crowd clapping and cheering alongside Grandpa, Ryou even shared a hug with him, it was quick but it had a lot of meaning behind it. After that Joey of course came in and gave Yugi a big bear hug.

I watched with a smile and after Yugi had finished with his friends he had run at me tackling me in a massive hug and kissing me over and over.

I loved him so much.

He was everything I had ever wanted and everything I will ever need. For short moments I pitied Bakura, he did truly love Yugi but he never actually learned how to love someone properly and after breaking Yugi he payed the price for it.

I wondered if I hadn't saved Yugi he would of hated me for all the things I had done. It was my worst fear, that the darkness wasn't gone and he still secretly hated me. Yugi assured me every night that he loved me and would never leave and that's what I lived by.

His love kept me alive and my love kept him going strong.

We couldn't live without each other which is why a box with a handmade diamond incrusted ring was nestled in my pocket. As I walked towards his bedroom where he would be working I smiled softly, a whole life with each other was ahead of now.

"Yugi?" I spoke knocking on the door and walking in, he sat at his desk and looked over at me smiling.

"Yami!" He held out his arms wanting a hug and I happily obliged hugging him tightly.

"I got an important question for you Aibou" I nuzzled into his neck and he nodded.

"Go ahead Yami, I'm all ears" I smiled and pulled away and went on one knee and held up the box to him.

"We've been together for a long time now Yugi and after everything we've been through I can't possibly imagine not being with you forever. So...I just ask you" he looked at me wide eyed and I opened the box revealing the ring "marry me?"

He squealed in delight and tackled me to the ground in a massive hug "of course! Of course I'll marry you!" I laughed and kissed him holding him close.

"I look forward to spending my life with you Yugi" I held his hand and kisses it slipping the ring onto his finger, he looked at it and smiled.

"Forever and ever Yami, together forever" we kissed passionately and after everything we've been through we had finally come together.

I couldn't wait till the wedding.
