So this probably isn't a cliché rant book but rather, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER. Book now. But honestly, one of my biggest peeves is two sides of the story. I just hate it, HATE IT. It's like, we've already seen this section of the story and now we have to see it again? Please.

Only IF there is major character development or if the new POV has a completely different view will I consider it okay. Example. Male POV.

I looked at her, the way she moved, the light glittering from her beautiful eye spheres, her smooth, silky hair, her blushed cheeks. "Jay," I say. "You have sauce on your chin."

Okay so one is enough but no, we have to do it again.

I just love the way light hit his skin, it made me want to kiss it all day long. I tried not to stare but the way his lean fingers would dance across the table caught my breath. "Jay." He says, my breath catches in my throat. "You have sauce on your chin."

Okay, we GET IT. You turn each other on. GET A ROOM, AND DO SOME FIFTY SHADES OF GREY STUFF. I don't want to hear it twice. The way I'd like the first POV to be shown would be different. Because not only does it show the differences between the two characters, but it keeps it interesting for the readers.

She was nervous, jittery, she peered at me occasionally from underneath her fake lashes. For all the amount of makeup she plastered on her face. She was no more beautiful. Ugliness was truly, a form that could not be changed. Eager to end the dinner, I looked at her pointedly, trying to refrain from hissing in distain. "Jay, you have sauce on your chin."

Sure, the character is a dick, but that not only throws a spanner in the works but makes the two characters easily separated, the two don't blur together. And you can move forwards with this storyline; the girls tries for the guy's ultimate affection and when she gives up, it is revealed that he actually now, loves her. There's a very clear attitude of the other person and that's what changing POVs are supposed to achieve.

*oh well, tally ho, that's all I have for this week*
