This song is a rather slow paced, melancholy song. The piano in the background has repeating notes as Laufey's voice rises and falls, creating a feeling of forlornness. The lyrics hit deep because she is explaining how the world views her life style: rich and glamourous. Because of this, she is taken advantage of. For the audience, there are many times where we are pressured to be a certain way in order to be accepted and to fulfill the role society has given us. Sometimes, we are put into positions and are forced to conform to society's expectations, and sometimes, society forgets that deep down, everyone is just human. It doesn't matter how glamorous or how successful we look on the outside because at the core, everyone is the same: human.
