Ratchet's dream p.o.v

The area around me was covered in greenery as well as harmless creatures walking around as I felt the familiar warmth of Rivet. Her metal arm was layed over my chest as she was asleep on her side. Our surroundings had remained undisturbed until the sun went down as we had exchanged a kiss with each other though our surroundings had changed drastically seconds later.

The Environment became cold and wet and the sound of heavy foot falls could be heard by multiple people. That's when I relized I was surrounded by enemies and Rivet was nowhere in sight. When I went to grab my wrench I instead gripped the frame of Clank's destroyed body before I heard a scream and looked back towards the group of villains only to see Rivet and Kit impaled through the chest on a claw that belonged to Vorsalon and another through Rivet's stomach by Tachyon.

I went to scream out only for nothing to come out before Rivet, Kit and Clank were all tossed in the center bleeding out or leaking oil before everything went dark.

Ratchet's P.O.V

I had shot awake letting out the scream I couldn't in the dream which alerted everyone in the house including Rivet who was startled awake and was looking around before she relized where the scream came from and tried to get my attention. To me I was still seeing after images of the nightmare and was shaking horribly not relizing I was safe, that everyone was safe so I unintentionally flinched away from Rivet's touch and fell off the couch before going into the corner away from the carpet that still held the after images of her, Clank and Kit motionless and dead.

Talwyn and Alister ran in at the same time before looking at the scene. Rivet was still on the couch looking upset while I was in the corner curled in a ball to hide away with tears running down my face.

Talwyn's P.O.V

When I heard Ratchet screaming I knew what was going on and got around with the comfort package I had brought along that has helped multiple times in the past when Ratchet was going through nightmares and thanked my intuition knowing that it once again had been right. As I ran out of the room I ended up running face first into Alister who had ran out at the same time before he had apologized and helped me up. I had thanked him and he gave a nod before we went to the living room to see what had happened as Clank and Kit had followed behind.

Alister had approached Rivet asking her what happened though Rivet didn't have a full description though did say that he had been staring at the carpet before he had backed himself into a corner. Though it was minimal detail it explained quite a bit to me and I knew my course of action before approaching Ratchet slowly and trying to coax him from his ball though his tail had simply tightened around him more. In my years of knowing him I've never seen him this scared of a nightmare which was concerning. I tried calling to him gently and got a ear twitch and a quiet voice saying my name before he uncurled slowly and looked around.

Everyone stayed put though the minute Ratchet spotted Rivet, Clank and Kit he had drew all three to him hugging them. Clank and Kit acted normal while Rivet froze up before she relized what happened and hugged him back while rubbing circles into his back while Alister and I gave them space before going into a different room to talk about what just happened and I knew it was going to be a long one.
