wednesday looked out the car window as they passed the vehicle with lights on, knowing what monster was contained in the back. she brought her eyes back ahead of them and tried not to think for the rest of the drive. she didn't want to, she wanted to put tyler in the past. she needed to put him in the past.

but that became impossible when their car was suddenly and kind of roughly stopped from behind. she turned to see what had happened and through the window was met with the gaze of tyler's hyde eyes.

"drive," she immediately demanded lurch but he shook his head, letting her know he couldn't because of tyler's grip on the car. wednesday brought her eyes back to the boy, who was now in his human form and giving her a pleading sort of look. the desperation in his eyes was enough to get her to contemplate for a moment if she should let him in or not.

he hadn't tried to kill her thus far in this moment so that had to count for something, right? besides, wednesday knew he had been controlled by laurel to do most of the bad things he did. but he still confessed to it and admitted to enjoying it. though maybe laurel made him say that or there was more to it than she knew, since not much research had been done on hydes.

wednesday was very conflicted but when she heard sirens coming their way she opened the car door without thinking and tyler got in, shutting it quickly before lurch took off again towards wednesday's home.

what a surprise for her parents this would be.
