You had been dating the Kendall Knight of Big Time Rush for over a year now, and you were the perfect couple. You posed on the cover of every magazine together and had the support of every Big Time Rush fan. Kendall treated you like the queen you are, and you treated him like a king. You were his rock; the only thing that could calm him when things when awry. But lately, he hadn't been himself.

For the last couple of days, Kendall seemed like he was avoiding you. Usually, Kendall couldn't stand to go more than three days without seeing you. But now, every time you asked to hang out, he always had an excuse. He stopped calling to wish you a good morning and good night while his friends would send you pictures of the group hanging out together. The pictures wouldn't bother you usually, but there was a new blonde girl with them. Kendall had briefly told you about her before; she was the band's new neighbor at the Palm Woods Hotel.

She had curly blonde hair that fell in wisps to her shoulder. Her chocolate brown eyes shined with a light that yours had been missing for a while. Her lips were full and bright pink. She was everything that you weren't, and you couldn't deny that she was beautiful. You knew that Kendall had complimented features like hers on other girls before you began dating. She looked like his dream girl.

You couldn't help but be suspicious.

You tried asking him about it multiple times, but you couldn't get answers from him. He would weakly reassure you about the soundness of your relationship before disappearing once again. He became so distant that he almost stopped texting you altogether.

You asked his best friends about his actions, and they did their best to calm you. "He's just really busy," they told you over and over again, but for some reason, you just didn't believe it.

Well, you had enough of his antics. You marched down to the Palm Woods, determined to get answers one way or another.

When you walked into the lobby, you saw the members of Big Time Rush sitting around the pool, but there was no Kendall and no new neighbor in sight. You narrowed your eyes as you approached the three boys.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" they called out to you as you stormed up to them, their faces falling when they noticed your anger.

"Where are they?" you growled furiously.

"I-I'm sorry, who are you looking for?" Logan stuttered nervously as he scratched the back of his neck.

"Don't play dumb with me," you ordered, "Where are Kendall and that blonde chick he's been seeing?"

"(Y/N), its not what you think-" James interjected.

"WHERE IS HE?" you screamed as you glared daggers at the three of them, earning unwanted attention from the other guests.

"He's up in our crib, but we don't know where she is," Carlos explained as he tried to calm you and end the embarrassment, "Really, you shouldn't go up there-" but before he could finish, you were already racing up the stairs.

When you reached the room, the doorknob wouldn't budge. It was locked. At this point, you were thankful that Momma Knight had given you a key all those months ago.

You unlocked the door with practiced ease before pushing it open with all of your might. There was a loud bang as the door slammed into the wall. Surely it left a dent, but you couldn't care less, especially not after you saw the scene in front of you.

You watched as Kendall and the blonde homewrecker jerked apart, pulling their arms shamefully to their sides after releasing one another from their tight embrace.

You weren't even surprised when you saw them standing awkwardly before you; you merely threw your head back and cackled loudly. How could you have been so foolish?

"I knew it," you scoffed, "I just knew it."

"(Y/N), it's not what it looks like," Kendall began with pleading eyes, "Please, just let me explain-"

"Explain what? What could you possibly need to explain that I can't see with my own eyes?" you gaped.

"I should probably just go..." the blonde tried to excuse herself as she walked past you.

"Oh no, you don't! You wanted my man so badly, now you better stay and own up to it," you snarled as you grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"I don't want your man!" she shrieked defensively.

"Then what are you doing here? You didn't act like you were just friends when you were nestled in his arms a second ago," you scoffed in disbelief.

"He was just thanking me for..." she hesitated as she trailed off, seemingly lost in thought, "for..."

"For?!" you demanded, annoyance seeping into your voice. Jo simply looked to Kendall for answers, infuriating you beyond what you imagined was possible. Kendall seemed like he was lost in an internal conflict before he seemed to give up.

"Babe, look around," Kendall instructed softly with a sigh. You merely glared at him before relenting, slowly spinning around as you took in the new interior of the boys' crib.

There was a large Christmas tree in the corner of the room that held bulbs in hues of white and gold with a large star shining at the top. The usually dirty orange couch now had dark red pillows with snowflakes embroidered on them and a matching blanket draped over the couch's backing with the word "LOVE" stitched in capital letters on it. Garland covered the railings and the mantle, and personalized stockings hung over a roaring fire. Snowflake ornaments hung from the ceiling while the soft glow of the fire made them sparkle like real snow.

Your mouth dropped open as you took in the sight. "What is this?" you gaped in awe.

"Your Christmas present," Kendall smiled at your calmer expression, "Jo, my neighbor here, helped me make sure it was perfect for you.

"He was thanking me for getting it done in time to show you," Jo explained, "But I don't know why. He did most of it. He even made the pillows and blankets that lay on the couches. The only thing I did was hold his phone for him so he wouldn't ruin the surprise. It was killing him that he couldn't see you."

A large smile plastered itself to your face as you heard her words. While you knew that there were more discussions to be had with your popstar boyfriend, you just wanted to enjoy the scenery he made specially for you.
