Hello there and welcome to the results chapter for our first contest! Us judges, Gadsul, Evara, and Ithildae (me), would like to present the winners of our first contest on fantasy!

First of all, we were so excited and overjoyed by how many people entered! We really couldn't believe how quickly this book spread and we are so grateful and happy to everyone.

Now, what you've all been waiting for: the winners!

The Silver Shadow In The Sky

A story about a realm filled with dragons of all kinds that love in harmony together. Some love in the forest, someone the sky, while others in the water. But when trouble strikes and a dark, ancient dragon comes calling, several unsuspecting dragons must step up and go on a journey to rid their beloved land of the menace. We loved this story full of friendship, humor, and valor.

And her story, The Mermaid (I just gave it a name since she originally didn't name it

A short story about a mermaid having to give up her wonderful summer on land and return to her true home, the sea. We loved this story with such great descriptive scenes, wonderful insight, and detailed attention.

Congratulations to you two! And a high five for everyone else who entered! This we seriously such a hard one to pick winners because we loved all the entries!!!!

But when deciding who won, we try to take into account lots of different aspects of writing. Several, to name a few, are structure, grammar, the thought put into the entry, overall sounds mess of the short or long story, plot, meaning. And there's lots more that we try and take into account that I can't think of right now:) But most importantly, we try to pick out the stories that were written by some truly talented aspiring writers. And that was why it was so hard to pick just two! Because every entry we received was excellent! So thank you again, for everyone who entered:)
