We have a new contest today! Interpret the following prompt however you like, and write a story by incorporating cliché(s) in it.

📝PROMPT:

You're returning home after your last class. Bone- tired, all you want is a goodnight sleep but fate isn't on your side. You stumble upon a person, sitting with their head down on the pavement under the heavy rain.

Who is it? A friend, a long time crush, a forgotten enemy or someone you've never met? What happens next?

📋RULES:

➼Entries should be between 1000–1500 words.

➼Only one entry per participant.

➼Entries should be in English only.

➼Entries should be original and new, written exclusively for this contest.

➼The work must be your own. If you co-write it with someone else, only one of you can submit it.

➼Entries that aren't sent via FORM won't be accepted. 

➼Both original fiction and fan-fiction are admissible.

➼Please be sure to double-check your grammar, spelling and punctuation before you submit.

➼Your story must adhere to Wattpad Content Guidelines and rated correctly. 

➼The contest will end on January 23rd, 2021 at 11:59 PM EST.
