Chapter 19: Why did you change?

"Whoever you are, are you too amazed? You're spying us for a while already! Do you want to die!?" Estelle shouted.

Loris chuckled and hugged Estelle. "Thank you, Estelle."

Estelle smiled and hugged Loris too. "You're welcome, Admirer. Maybe I will call you Gay."

Loris immediately pulled himself and glared at Estelle jokingly. Estelle shrugged her shoulders and stood up. She open her palms to Loris. Loris smiled and accepted Estelle's helping hand. He stood up while holding Estelle's hand.

"We should go home, shall we?" Estelle said after Loris pulled his hands back.

"Your giving me hell, Estelle." Loris said as he shrugged his shoulders.

They started walking out of the Underground Forest. It was a very silent walk. Estelle is silently scanning the area and Loris is following Estelle. It's not yet dark since the clock just hit five o'clock.

"Requesting Ms. Estelle Kethyst Clemence to proceed into the SAC and COR Office. Again, Requesting Ms. Estelle Kethyst Clemence to proceed into the SAC and COR Office. Thank you."

Loris look at Estelle when the intercom interrupted their silent walk. Estelle is frowning and is raising her fine brow. Why is Estelle being requested to go to the office? Did she do a crime again?

Estelle glance at Loris and nodded her head. Estelle immediately left Loris in the Underground Forest and started walking into the SAC and COR Office. As she made her way, she got confuse because of the facial expressions of her co-students. The students are staring at her while she passed through them.

"What's the meaning of that?" Estelle thought while she continued making her way.

She finally arrived at the door of the SAC and COR Office. She scanned her nameplate on the laser scanner and the door opened itself. She entered the office and the cubicles are vacant and the lights are off. She shrugged her shoulders and proceeded into the Master's Office.

She pushed the door. The lights are off but when the sensor detected her, it immediately lited. Estelle saw no one except the back of the SAC School Monitor and the Ace of COR, Theo Vuitton. Theo turn his swivel chair into her direction.

Estelle's eyes kind of widen when he saw Theo. Theo gave her a poker face and scanned her body head to toe. Estelle raised her brow to Theo. Theo's eyes landed on the envelope in front of him. Estelle looked at the envelope to while her fine brows are still raised.

Theo sigh. "Open the envelope and see for yourself what have you done."

Estelle's heart began to shake and  crumble. She slowly approached the envelope with her footsteps echoed in the room. She slowly sigh as she grabbed the brown envelope. She glanced at Theo and found out that Theo is looking down. She examined the envelope and then she started unwrapping what's inside.

Estelle's eyes widen. Those are photos, fresh and newly printed. She glanced at Theo. Theo is staring at her, eye to eye. Estelle's lips twitched. She slam those photos on the spot and it was scattered everywhere now.

"You did a crime, Estelle—"

"I already did a crime with you, Theo. I already did! Where is the wicked spin?" Estelle shouted.

Theo closed his eyes intently. He clenched his jaw as he bang his palms on the table. He opened his eyes and look at Estelle. Estelle stared back at him and she realized something. She binked her eyes because can't believe what she is looking.

"Are you somehow broken hearted? Why you cut your hair suddenly?" Estelle said in a calm tone.

Theo look at her with his thick brows are raised. "Are you saying that—"

Estelle immediately left the area. She actually run as fast as she could. It's already dark and the hallway is pretty silent and vacant. She didn't mind what she is passing through as along as she will arrive at the apartment soon.

Bigla siyang napahinto ng may natandaan siya. Kanina habang nag-uusap sila ni Loris ay may nakita siya na kahina-hinala sa lugar na iyon. That thing was so weird to the point that it arouses her curiosity.

Estelle scanned the area and moved into the south where you can find the Underground Forest. The place is dark yet it Estelle is dauntless to face that thing alone. Estelle stopped in the midway when she remembered she bought a black cloak on the Underground Mall. She grabs the cloak inside her bag and then she wears it. Estelle walked faster without some noise from her shoes. 

When Estelle arrived at the opening of the Underground Forest, she suddenly heard some footsteps. She is certain that it's not hers. She continued walking but this time she is shunning.

She arrived five meter away from that area quietly and unnoticed. She hid herself in the big tree after. Later that moment, she realized it's not visible enough. She transferred around two more meters to the next tree. She managed to climb and hid herself on it's leaves.

There is still a continuous bang of footsteps. Estelle's lips pouted when she started seeing shadows of a walking something. Then, she saw some black cloaks that's why she close her eyes first. When she opened her eyes, she narrowed it to the other cloaked guys.

Estelle fix her bag on her shoulder tightly as she focused on the two fellows. In her perspective, the one is a girl and the other one is a guy. Both of them are sitting on the tree and they have motions that Estelle can't figure out.

Suddenly, napakapit si Estelle is sa katawan ng kahoy na may biglang sumabog. Subconsciously, she closed her eyes and at the same time she sealed her mouth. When her eyes opened, there is no one she saw. How is that even possible?

Estelle waited for few minutes with a hope that she will see the the two again. To her disappointment, no one ever came back. She sighed deeply as she started helping herself down. She get back into walking but this time she is going home.

This night must be exciting for Estelle but looks like it'll be a boring one. Suddenly, the bells rings and this means that it's already Self-governing Hour. She sigh.

When she arrived at the hallway of her apartment's floor, she suddenly felt a presence. She lift her guard on and get ready if ever their are some surprise attacks. She duck immediately as a sword slash into her. Estelle turn her body around, put her hand backwards and immediately initiated a kick.

She stood up immediately as someone groaned. Estelle saw a woman with metallic pink with scaled-texture mask. Estelle remembered it resembles the mask of the fighters Heartle once fight in their last mission. The only visible difference is that, it was colored gold yet this one is colored pink.

"Fuck you!" The fellow started slashing her sword to Estelle.

Estelle has been chilling while dodging the attack of that fellow. Estelle is expert in swords because she loves fencing. This is person isn't a pro, she must say. She slashes her sword according to her grief. Estelle can also read behavior so it's very easy for her to just dodge the attack without exerting some effort.

The fellow began to feel anxious because she didn't hit Estelle once. She slashed her sword without thinking that before she could slash it, Estelle already thought of a way how to dodge it. She is not thinking that she could win on Estelle's mentality and physicality. She is now catching her breath but she never stop slashing.

"Are you not done yet?" Estelle said. This night is exciting after all.
