INGREDIENTS:
Butter- 1 cup
Maida flour- 1 cup
Icing Sugar- 1 cup
Egg (beated)- 1 cup
Cocoa Powder- 1/4 cup
Baking powder- 1/4 tsp
Vanilla essence- 2-3 drops
STEPS:
STEP 1: In a mixing bowl add butter and sugar.
STEP 2: Beat butter and suger until it becomes creamy(10-14 min) using a whisk.
STEP 3: Add egg and vanilla essense and beat well.
STEP 4: Now add maida flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.Mix them well. Beat the batter until it becomes smooth.
STEP 5: Grease the tin with butter. Transfer it into the baking tin.
STEP 6: Heat the pressure cooker, covered with the lid but without the pressure. Pour little quantity of water inside the cooker. Place a stand inside the cooker. Then place the cake tin in the cooker.
STEP 7: Close the lid (without the pressure), keep in high flame for 5 minutes and lower the flame and let it cook until done (about 30 minutes).
STEP 8: Open the lid, check the cake with a knife(if the cake doesn't stick to the knife then it is done). Switch off the flame.Take the tray out .Cool it for some time. Now unmould the cake. Spread cream over the top of the cooled cake.
FOR MAKING CREAM
INGREDIENTS:
Butter- 50 gm
Icing sugar
Food colour
STEPS:
STEP 1: Beat butter until it becomes creamy.
STEP 2: Add sugar according to your taste. Beat well till it becomes creamy.Now cream is ready.Add food colour if needed.

COOKING TIPS
To avoid browning of apples after cutting, apply a little lemon juice on the cut surface. The apples will stay and look fresh for a longer time.
