Since today was Halloween, I spent the whole day decorating for it. After what happened, Vin kept getting surges of pain every now and then so I made him take a nap. He objected at first, but then went to lay down. I mean, he loves sleeping so he was going to take a nap eventually.

I finished decorating and went upstairs to wake him up. He had his arm over his eyes and the covers were resting on his waist.

Did I mention he didn't have a shirt on?

My eyes traveled over his body, taking in his handsome appearance before I settled on his face. And guess what: His eyes were open. And he was watching me. Embarrassing...

"Like what you see, babe?" he said.

I snorted, but still felt my cheeks heat up intensely. "Wha- Pssh...Of course not."

He sat up. "Yes you do. Admit it."

My eyes went back to his abs before I looked away quickly, feeling my blush deepen. "Nope. Never."

"Your face tells a different story," he said.
"Don't listen to my face, then. Listen to what my mouth is saying," I said, turning away from him and crossing my arms.

I heard shuffling behind me, then he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to his chest. I sighed in content and leaned my head against his shoulder. "It's okay to like it, babe. It's only for you anyway."

I laughed. "It better be."

He chuckled behind me. "I think I like jealous Meg better than regular Meg."

I elbowed him in his stomach. "Whatever. You just like the fact that a girl wants to fight for you," I said.

Vin turned me around to face him. "Only you. If it was anyone else, I wouldn't give a shit."

I stared into his beautiful brown eyes. They captivated me like nothing else ever has before. Then, after a few moments of staring, the both of us were leaning in. Once our lips touched, I immediately felt the sparks. I'm sure he felt it too because he groaned.

"You're the best thing that's ever happened to me," he said, before capturing my lips with his again. He pushed me against the wall gently, then picked me up by my thighs and wrapped my legs around his waist.

I sighed. This kiss was something that I've never felt before. I wrapped my arms around his neck and let my hands tangle in his hair. He left the wall and soon enough my back hit the soft bed.

He pulled back to look at me. "You're so beautiful."

"So are you."

He chuckled. "I know I am." His lips met mine again. A few minutes later, the kiss became more intense. His hands tugged on the bottom of my shirt before pulling it off and throwing somewhere in the room.

"Meg, do you have any-"

Vin and I jumped away from each other with lightning speed. "Mom! Oh my- Mom!"

She crossed her arms and leaned on the doorway. "I see you guys are a little busy right now."

My face flushed. "Mom I uh...We didn't-"

"Do you have any dirty laundry?" she asked, while throwing my shirt at me. I slipped it over my head and covered my face with my hands.

"No, Mom. I did mine yesterday," I said. I snuck a look at Vin and saw he was trying to hold in laughter.

"There better not be any babies conceived up here," she said, leaving the room.

Vin burst out laughing. "Oh my gosh! You- you should've- Hahaha!!"

I punched his arm before getting up and walking out of the room. "Oh c'mon, babe! It's just a joke."

"Whatevs. Just go put your costume on. That's originally why I came up."

"Yeah, but we got sidetracked."

"Just go."

"Can we change together?"

"No."

He pouted his lower lip. "Fine. I'll just go be lonely upstairs." He turned away from me and went up the stairs

"Yep, you do that!" I called after him.

This was going to be a long night.

It was finally time to start handing out candy, so Vin and I filled a bowl with candy and waited on the floor by the door. We talked about random things until there was a knock at the door. We stood up, grabbed the bowl, then opened the door.

"Trick or treat!" the kid said.

Vin sighed. "Jace, you're not fooling anyone."

Jace took off his hood. "Damn, bro. Way to ruin my fun." He walked in and sat down on the couch. "Is it okay if I hang with you guys? It's lonely over there."

"Yeah, that's alright," I said.

"Where's your Mom, Meg?"

"She went to work," I said.

"Can I use her laptop?" he said.

"Don't break it," I said.

"Sweet."

We spent the rest of the night handing out candy to little kids. Some of the kids came back two or three times in different costumes, but we still gave them more candy. Vin over bought the candy so we were trying to get rid of as much as we could.

"We should probably start going to bed," Vin said.

"Yeah, probably." Just as we stood up, there was another knock at the door. When we opened it, there was a little girl with blonde hair standing there. She was wearing an angel costume, which she looked adorable in.

"Trick or treat!" she said.

"Do you have any allergies?" I said.

"What are allergies?" she said.

"Never mind," I said. "Here." I dumped the rest of the bowl in her bag.

Her eyes widened and her jaw dropped. "Oh my noodles! Thanks miss!"

I smiled at her. "You're welcome."

"Is that your boyfriend?" she asked, pointing at Vin.

"No," I said.

Her face fell. "Really? You two would look cute together."

"Haha...Thanks." The girl ran back to her mom. She turned and waved at us before walking away.

We shut the door and sat down on the floor again. "Why'd you say that?" Vin said.

"What?"

"That I'm not your boyfriend."

Oh. "You never formally asked me."

"I just assumed we were."

"I didn't."

He stood up, pulling me up with him. Then, he got down on one knee. "Meg, will you do me the honor of being my girlfriend?"

I snort laughed. "Yes. Of course."

Okay now it's over.

Snort laughed is when you're laughing and all of a sudden you snort. I do that sometimes. cx

I'm very disappointed with this chapter. It's not my best. Sorry for anything that was crappy, guys.
