Hi! Aqua here! I'm here to explain parts of the story. 

So! Being, "corrupt" is when you kinda lose control of all sanity, and your strength/power if multiplied greatly. There are 3 categories of, "Corrupt?" Uh.. corruptiveness? Sorry 😅

Category 1, is when the person is born corrupt, they have no control over it, and they may remain that way for the rest of their life.

Category 2, when the victim was born normal, however turned corrupt later on in life, the most common trigger after seeing something extremely saddening or emotional.

Finally, category 3. The rarest, the person can actually control whenever they become corrupt. However, like category 2, if they see something triggering, they may lose control. This sometimes turns on, then off.
