Adrien's POV

I sat in first period wondering where Marinette was. She's never skipped class before and people continued to ask about it.

"Hey Adrian. Where is Marinette? I'm getting worried about her." I was expecting to see Alya when I turned around but I saw Chloe.

Shocked, I said, "I'm not to sure Chloe."

"Oh. Ok. Well thanks."

She walked away with her head low. A mixture of sadness and worry were permanently carved into her features.

Class was almost over and I hadn't heard a thing. I tried but my mind continually wondered off to Marinette. She has been acting strange lately. Hawkmoth did something to her, but what I don't know yet.

"…dismissed" I heard the teacher say.

Numbly I stood up and left. Alya, Nino, Chloe, Nath and j I were the last ones out. We walked out only to be greeted by a semi circle surrounding her. Marinette.

She wore black jeans that were ripped, a pierce the veil shirt and a leather jacket. I haven't seen her like this since we started dating.

I was shocked to the core. "Mari-" I tried but couldn't finish. I glanced at Nathaniel and he spoke for me.

"Marinette, what did you do?"

She completely ignored our questions and looked down.

People shuffled to make a path. A muscular man walked down, wearing similar attire as Marinette. He had a pierced nose and small gages in his ears.

Marinette looked up and her face sort of lit up. "Damien. Long time no see."

"Likewise, sister"

This was insane. Was everyone her brother? My head was spinning fast and Chloe grabbed my arm and asked if I was ok. I nodded in response.

I looked back up and they were already half way down the hall. I motioned to my group to follow bit Alya was a head of me and followed her.
