This is more so a "what if" type of cover than any finished product (yes, I've been overusing the dragonfly, I just love how it looks oops), but I kinda like how it looks. I decided to also make a back so now it's a full thing that could theoretically be on a physical, printed book - but in practice it can't really because none of the images I used are copyright free for as much as I'm aware (perhaps not even the main font, I don't remember).

BLURB:

Youth. The maiden. The young hero who has to do all but smile, and the world lays at their feet. He who chases dragons; the boy who can fly; son of War. She who speaks with the little people; the girl who brings grown men to their downfall with nothing but a whisper; daughter of the Trickster.

Once, people called them Kore – but if one were to use this name nowadays, they would only stare at you blankly and ask you, "Sorry, who?" – to then correct you with a frown, and tell you that her name is Anastasia Wolfe (Ana for friends).

A lover, sheltered, glancing at the world through distorted glass that turns everything sour. Listen in quietly, lover, for tonight, summer ends.

King of the old. The destroyer. A father, even if cruel. Hateful – hateful in that detached sense that only those who never actually had hope to begin with can be. Disappointed, despite a general lack of expectations. The man who only ever truly feels in control whenever ending something.

Be careful, Kore, for Hades is near, and not even the Gods can protect you. Pack your daggers for when the ground opens up beneath you, and hope – for only you can save yourself from this most ghastly of fates.

or, less poetically:

Ana, a young mentally ill girl, discovers that she is the current incarnation of Persephone (goddess of youth), and that she must defeat Hades in order to become a deity again, together with Hades' child, Macaria, who is also incarnated and without memory.
