This will most likely not be the eventual cover for this story but I felt like I needed to experiment and make things look like it could be in a store and not be super over the top but still fun. Mostly, I didn't feel like working on my outline. Anyway.

I don't have one, but - a young woman tries to find her missing childhood best friend in their old home town that she left a few years ago. The two communicate through dreams, and our main character listens to cassette tapes left behind in an abandoned lighthouse by her friend to try and find out where they may have gone to. She also tries to solve a two decade old murder mystery and gradually figures out she may have been raised in a cult. And that she might be a witch. Also she can visit an elaborate dream world that helps her find answers to her questions. I really want to start writing it but I first need to outline more 🙄
