I love asylums too much

People with powers are starting to pop up all over the world, and to keep them 'safe' they are all kept in an asylum

Taylor is the newest one, being able to bend shadows at his will, take shadows, and even kill using shadows, all with a touch

His next door neighbor is a bi polar psychopath bearing a lot of scars always talking about a 'furry friend' who he can't see

Ones who are able to tolerate each other are able to walk around and be 'normal'

Taylor stumbles across two others, a controller of lightning and teleportation and a mutant zombie who can decay people with a touch

But due to this none of them can touch each other or risk them dying

Within weeks a hoard of them break out and try to survive out by themselves

The ending, is up to the imagination

This one is my favorite
