Before starting this chapter, I'd like to clear this that I'm a graduation student having a lot going around in life. Its difficult for me to be regular. But I try to update whenever I can.

Avni was deep drowned into her beautiful past memories. She could still remember the naughtiness and mischief his eyes always contained. The smile never going away from his lips. The carefree guy who used to spread happiness wherever he went was lost.

Now, all that you could see in his eyes was emptiness. The fun, mischief and naughtiness long gone. The golden heart that he possessed is now concealed in thick walls that he has built around him. For him, its his precaution. But for Avni, its her pain.

She smiled to herself and went up to him and hugged him. Neil was a little shocked by her sudden hug. But, what she said next made him smile wide.

A: Bebe kehti hain, ki ek jadoo ki jhappi sab theek kar deti hai.

He immediately wrapped his arms around her and dipped his face into her hair. They stayed in the same position for a long time.

A: I know you're liking this. But, I'm really hungry.

Neil reluctantly moved away and made a cute pout.

A: This won't work Mr. Khanna.

She pecked his pout and picked her plate and started eating her food as if she was hungry since ages.

Neil adored her this form. How much had he missed this Avni. The childish Avni whom he could pamper and spoil as per his wishes. He sat beside her and again made a cute pout while she just rolled her eyes. Then he gestured her to feed him and she smiled.

She left her spoon and fed him with her hands. While, he smiled remembering a past moment with her.

Flashback...

Its been a while since they've met for the first time. Avni used to pass through the playground everyday in order to catch a glimpse of him. The guy who literally made her heart flutter for the very first time.

Since, the day he hugged her for the first time Avni had been curiously observing him. Although, she never showed it openly that she is watching him but Neil Khanna observes everything. Literally, nothing can be secret for him. He knew everything, as he boasts.

Avni used to sit in a secluded corner of the ground which provided a good view of him but no one could particularly notice her.

That afternoon, she was having her lunch when Neil decided to talk to her.

N: Hi!

Avni got scared as she never thought that someone could spot her there. But, she was wrong and the proof was the guy standing in front of her.

A: hi...
She said meekly.

N: Can I sit with you?

Avni nodded her head. Neil immediately sat beside her and looked into her tiffin. She was having biryani. His mouth watered.

Avni noticed his gaze.

It was difficult for Neil to resist his urge to eat her food.

Avni forwarded her tiffin towards.

A: Tum le sakte ho.

He smiled at her and showed her his hands which were filled with mud.

A: So what? Mere paas spoon hai.

N: Chee, tum biryani spoon se khaati ho.

A: To aur kaise khate hain?
She said getting confused.

N: Haathon se. It tastes even delicious.

A: Oh!

N: Kya Oh? Khilao na...please bohot bhook lagi hai.

Avni hesitated at first but then fed him. The sparks they both felt when her fingers touched his lips were an indication of their future ahead....
