(WARNING. THE FOLLOWING PASSAGE IS ME RANTING ABOUT RANDOM STUFF)

Does anyone else have such a huge family that all your cousins pretty much make up half a town?

WELP. If you don't, I envy you.

We're having a family reunion this weekend, and my dads side of the family is coming into town. And I mean his ENTIRE FAMILY.
Which means, around maybe....200 people?
I don't even know 12% of these people, and they're supposedly SOMEHOW related to me.
Like, my dad will come up to me with this random dude he meets on the street and be like,
"Hey, remember Uncle <insert name here>?"
And I'll just bite my lip and say, "Uhhh.... Nnnooooooo......?"

This is why I hate family reunions, and would rather sit in a corner with my phone watching YouTube.
But me dad just HAS to come over, take my phone away, and scold me saying,
"Go socialize with your cousins!"
I DONT KNOW ANYONE HERE DAD!! is what I really want to say, but I just smile and say "Okay," like a good girl and walk around ignoring everyone and occasionally grabbing something from the snack table.

This evening were having a small party to see some relatives before tomorrow and already there's a guy here in a cool hat, and my dad says he's one of our cousins, and I'm just thinking to myself...
Oh nooooo. It's BEGUN.

I have to get out of my room before my dad notices and prepare to talk with random strangers I don't know!
