Preeta bumped into Ragini and Rishabh. She was numb to see them there while Karan was confused seeing her reaction.

Preeta(in mind) : Dii... Rish.. Yaha... Meri di... Kitni sundar lg rhi h.. Aur kitni khush...

Ragini behaved as if she didn't know Preeta while Rishabh was giving a hurt look to Preeta.

But Ragini moved in with Rishabh, a lone tear escaped her eye seeing her sister's ignorance.

Preeta(in mind) : Teri di khush h... Aur kya chahiye preeta... Uski khushi ke liye toh teri jaan kurbaan..

She smiled with tears.

Karan(in mind) : Ye log kon the... Babydoll inhe dekh kr aise kyu behave kr rhi thi...

Karan offered to drop Preeta. She didn't say anything but he knew she was not in condition of going home on her own.

He stopped car in front of her apartment. She got off.

Karan(concerned) : Babydoll kon the vo log... Tum unse kaafi affected lg rhi hu..

His voice full of concern was enough for her to break down. She hugged him tightly crying.

Preeta: Kaash main tumhe bta skti...

Karan: Hey... Rou mt.. Chup..bilkul chup... Nahi batana toh mt batao.. Main force nhi kroga... Pr yaad rkhna main hmesha tumhare saath hu... Kbhi bhi piche mudkar dekhogi... Main vahi hounga.. Tumhare liye... Hmesha..

Preeta smiled.

Preeta(in mind) : Bahut badi baat boldi tumne Karan.... Par jab sach saamne aayega, pta nhi kya hoga..

She waved at him.

Preeta opened her phone and saw her pic with ragini and rishabh.

Tears fell from her eyes on screen.

Preeta: Vo ek galti... Vo ek decision.. Par dii ke liye kuch bhi...

She smiled and kissed the screen.

Everybody was present while Preeta was waiting for Karan from past half an hour.

Karan texted her.

Karan: Shrishti ko kya gift krna h mujhe...

Preeta smiled at her antics.

He came after another half an hour.

Karan: Sorry main late ho gya...

Preeta(sarcastically) : Nhi nhi tum kaha late hue ho... Hum hi jaldi aayege sb...

He gave his cute dimple smile.

Preeta(in mind) : Har baar gussa dila ke dimples ki wajah se bach jaata h... Huh..

Suddenly, Preeta felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Ritik.

She hugged him.

Ritik(flirting) : Tere khyalo mein..

Preeta: Karan... Yeh h ritik jisse tumne uss din mere phone p baat kii thi aur ritik, yeh h karan... Mera boss or best friend...

Ritik(sighing) : Thank god tune boyfriend nhi bola..

Preeta(smilingly) : Shut up... Chl shrishti wait kr rhi h...

She moved towards Shrishti holding ritik's hand while Karan was fuming in jealousy.

Karan(in mind) : Aaya bada... Acha hua bf nhi bola.. (mimics him)... Meri Babydoll ke saath flirt kr rha h... Mann toh kr rha h mixture grinder m daalke iski chutney banado... Huh..

Karan sat on one of chairs and was admiring Preeta... He couldn't take his eyes off from her for even a fraction of second seeing how adorable and beautiful she looked in that white short dress.

A voice came from behind,

Ritik: Sundar h na...

Karan: tumhe kya mtlb...

Ritik: Tum usse pyaar krte ho na..

Karan turned astonished to hear what Ritik said and at the moment, his hate level for Ritik fell down.

Karan(in mind) : Yaar uss psycho ke saath rh rhke mne bechare ek ache insan ke baare m kya kya sochlia tha.. Usski chutney banuaga.. Khub maroga pitoga.. Kya kr rhi ho tum babydoll mere saath...

Ritik: Tum usse pyaar krte ho... Par vo tumse pyaar nhi kregi... She is not love material... And definitely not wife material...Vo kisiko pyaar nhi kr skti...

Karan: Iss free ki advice ke liye thank u... Tum apne kaam se kaam rkho... Aur haa... Main ''kisiko'' nhi ho..

Karan left and went outside.

Preeta looked around not finding Karan anywhere. She went out and saw him in balcony.

She moved closer. Karan felt her presence.

Karan turned to see Preeta with a questioning expression. He pulled her closer through waist and joined their foreheads. They were just inches apart.
