Chapter 4 Mating season!?

It was mid spring... A day after I told
Bronzeheart and Everpelt that I lied about my name. But today everything
would change...

Last night I feel asleep on the couch
that was in my Den when I first entered it. It was really comfortable
and it was a great feeling, to relax..
On a day like this of course I wanted
to go outside. The sun was shining
brightly and there was no clouds in the sky. No wind no worries! So , I sprinted outside and....... I
jumped out side smiling but....
Ten cats I didn't even know stared at me with dull eyes. Crap..I thought.
" Hey! Who are you and why are on the light clan territory?!?! " A white
furred cat started to hiss at me. I backed up to face Everpelt. " Everpelt
who are these cats? " I said. " Oh this
Is...just a sec" he turned to face the
other cats.

" Guys , this is a new cat in our pack ,
her name is Moondust. " He said.
" How is this cat special?! " the same white furred cat hissed once again.
" No , ugh... This cat has great..great
powers the power to create with her mind. " Everpelt meowed. " Then show us Moony " The she-cat meowed again. " First of all my name is not Moony. And second of all what should I create? " I said. " You should create a
....a..a ice cream cone ....no no no cat nip..yeah! Cat nip! Yeah " screamed a
kit with trotasheil colored fur. " Ok then I'll create cat nip ." I jumped with excitement. So , I pictured cat nip in my head and...POOF it appeared in front of me. " Cool! " yelled the trotasheil cat. " Oh so, she does have a power but not the best ...
.." Suddenly the other nine cats ran away.

Two white angel wing spreded from her back and she flew away. Everpelt seemed fond of that cat, while I felt thretened by the she-cat." That was Snowpelt, she's my mate for this season. " Everpelt sighed..".. M..M...MATE?! " I screamed " And what do you mean this season?!?!
" Heh Its called Mating season... Let me explain. Each spring the right aged cats have to pick a mate to reproduce
with I'm with my girlfriend , Snowpelt. " He smiled as he glanced at the glowing sun. " Why are u smiling at a time like this?!" I gasped.
" you know you better find a mate..." Everpelt teased. " Ok. FINE I will ....hmph.." I turned around and walked the opposite way Everpelt did. Oh and of course I didn't realize that he was
just teasing me...

Minutes later I bumped into a long haired Siamese cat ( a.k.a. a Ragdoll cat ). " I'm sorry! " He helped me up. " Thanks! " I said. " Anytime " He smiled. " so.. " He laughed. " Ummm I got to go..." I meowed. " W..Wait! "He said. " The strange cat's eyes sparkled
In the sun light.

I turned over my shoulder too face the tom-cat. "Well, before I say anything I should interdouce myself :
My name is Cloudshadow...of Light
Clan, of course. " Cloudshadow said
proudly. I have a feeling that Cloudshadow and I will be- I paused as the cat in front of me waved his paw in my face. " Hello? ....."
I slowly began to realize that I spaced out....how embarrassing.... I thought.
" Oh ...sorry Cloudshadow- My name is Moondust " I shook the tension off my fur. " Ok then - Moondust It's nice too meet you . " He looked at me and continued : " Please take this - " Cloudshadow passed me a letter....
