I was walking the wooded trails, the same ones I met Hoodie on. I had walked these trails almost everyday, hoping to run into him again. I heard a snap of a twig breaking, and I turned around quickly. Hoodie stood right there, I screamed, covering my mouth with my jacket sleeves. "I-I-I'm sorry!" He stammered, I sighed, and smiled, shaking my head. "M-my fa-fau-lt-lt", I said, I was glad to see him, nervously, I kicked the dirt and smiled. "I-it is, uh, nice to.. s-see you.. again.." I said, Hoodie did a simple nod, and I found myself smiling nervously. We stood in silence, thorns dug into my body, into my brain, into my gut. "What's your favourite music genre?" I asked suddenly, quickly, with no stuttering involved. "I, u-uh, real-really lik a-all genres... j-just b-be-being honest." He shrugged, I tugged on his sleeve and gestured to a field. "Let's sit there to talk," I shrugged, my own voice was so clear now, wow, what happened? It made me feel so much more confident in myself. We sat in a cleared area in the field, and I leaned back in the grass to state at the sky.

"H-hobbies?" Hoodie asked me, I sighed in satisfaction with the day. "I love photography, walks in the woods, reading, writing, and music. What about you, Hoodie?" I asked him, it was then that he laid down next to me. "S-same here.... I, uh, a-also li-ke video games..." he said, I noticed his stutter was going down a bit, which made me mentally jump with joy. "Hoodie, why was it you were, er, in the woods?" I asked him, turning to look at the mask. "Uh, we would y-you pos-posi-bbly  believe.... maintenance?" He questioned, I giggled, but shook my head and I heard him sigh from behind the mask. "Waiting for you.." he said, it was clear as day, and made the wind that blew by us feel happier. "M-me?" I questioned in shock, I felt my chest jumping, as of my heart was fist pumping the air. "Y-yes... I wanted to, uh, well, see you.. ag-gain." He murmured, I blushed and covered my face. "I've been walking the same path in hopes of seeing you again too," I admitted, and I could hear him softly chuckle before sitting up and looking around.

"What's wrong?" I asked him, sitting up and looking around too. "I was... I was j-just seeing if they we were around.. so I c-can do this." He remarked, grabbing my hand and lacing our fingers together. This feels rushed, but I was enjoying it, it made me happy, so I leaned my head on his shoulder.
