When he refused to sleep
When I'm at the end of my rope
When she was diagnosed
When we drove every weekend
When he cried non-stop for days
When I was covered in vomit and milk
and snot and tears
When the letter came and we had to move
When you got laid off
When I went back to school
When we bought a house
When I got laid off
When we had enough money to travel
When she died
When we hate our jobs
and our dreams... so impossibly far away
When we think we have it all figured out...

The only constant in life is change...
