Where did the time go?
You were there a moment ago,
Jumping and twirling, bouncing with glee
Running so fast just happy and free.
Now I turn around
You're nowhere to be found
I had forgotten.

That's where the time went.
Those days of past lives spent
Together we walked and played
And talked and swayed
And tussled.

Then it was time and you had to leave
Unexpectedly, how life can twist and tease
And rip our souls in half again
When we realize how we've forgotten
Those we loved.
