Maui POV

As Moana left to go see what Tui needed, Aisake turned to me and smiled. "Thank you."

"For what?" I asked, surprised.

"Protecting Moana on your journey. She's like a little sister to me, I don't know what I'd do without her," he responded.

"Moana said she thought you were dead, how long have you been missing?" I asked him.

"I was on the search mission for her, two days after she left. The head fisherman's son, Akolo, came with us. We made it three days before a storm struck us and we were stranded on an island that had these hook things. We thought we'd found you both but the island was abandoned."

I looked at him in shock. He nods. "Well, that's quite a story," I told him.

He frowned and gazed Moana's way. "What happened to her?"

"Oh, umm. She was attacked by Deconatoa while sailing. Don't worry, I saved her and blinded the brute," I explained. Aisake's eyes widened in worry and shock.

"How long has it been since the attack?"

"Two weeks," I responded.

Aisake sighed. "I'd better go check with my men. We just came back from a neighboring island and we have some supplies. You wanna help us unload?"

I thought for a moment. "Eh, why not?"

Time Skip: 3 days later

I was going to go find Moana when I heard that adorable giggle of hers. I looked out the window of my hut and saw her walking with Aisake.

"Well that sounds fun," she joked. I felt a feeling I hadn't felt in a long time. Jealousy. I brushed it off and told myself they were just catching up.

A knock on my hut door made me look up from the floor. I opened it saw Moana. Aisake was gone. I was confused for a moment before Moana excitedly said, "Come on!"

"What's the occasion?" I asked.

"We're celebrating the return of the lost!"

"I'll be there," I responded with a smile. She grinned and limped back towards the center of the village. She didn't need her cane anymore but she still limped. It wasn't a heavy limp but it was noticeable.

I followed not to long after to see a huge feast table with plenty of different food choices.

Moana was talking with some of the other villagers and Aisake was still no where to be found.

Moana dismissed the villagers when she saw me. She stepped shakily up onto the meeting platform, instantly getting everyone's attention. "I am happy to welcome back our lost Montinui members, Aisake, Akolo, Kyle, and Hendy."

The crowd cheered a little. That's when I saw Aisake with three other men who looked proud to be getting addressed by the soon to be chief of Montinui. "I am also glad to say that I'm healing well and will back to work before we know it." This made another, louder cheer erupt from the crowd.

She smirked happily. "Let the feast begin!"
