If you have skipped the previous three sections, I would advise you to at least read "Wait, what's critique and feedback?". It's important you know what you're going to get before you ask for it.

I've had people in the past expect I'm only going to praise their work. They became upset when I gave some negative opinions on it. So, make sure you really understand what you're getting :)

Critique and Feedback on the First Two Chapters of your book

RULES

Rule 0: One book at a time per writer. If you have many books, wait until I have finished the critique and feedback on one of your books before you order for the next. This allows other writers to be next on the list :)

Rule 1: Your book MUST NOT CONTAIN any explicit mature content in the first two chapters. Adult language is fine but not the actual actions unless you do "fade to black". I'm not comfortable reading it. (2024, Feb. 03: check Excluded Genres)

Rule 2: Be open to suggestions. I'm not attacking you. I'm trying to help. Let's make your story good together :) 

Rule 3: Do keep in mind that my opinions can be subjective, so if you are unsure of something, ask others if you can. Do online research. If I think I can point you to some resources, I will.

Rule 4: Confused? STOP RIGHT THERE. Summon me from the far reaches of the Wattpad universe (Send me a message on my message board. It's the best way). I'm all ears. Let's figure it out together, whatever you have questions about :)

If you don't receive a "seen!" response in 7 days, maybe you need to check where and how you posted your comment. If you see a "Seen! (number)" the number is only for me to keep track of sign-up order, so don't worry about it :)

NOTICE there is no place to write your blurb. I don't need your blurb. You're not trying to catch my interest. I'll read whatever I see as long as you abide to the rules. Besides, blurbs make comments too long :P

No, I haven't. There is none. Zero. No payments of anything needed. You don't have to follow me, you don't have to add a book to a reading list, and you don't have to read any of my stuff in return.

This will not change. I won't suddenly ask for payment. Don't worry :)

All you need to do is be receptive to critique and take in my feedback. If you don't know how to do this, I'll be giving advice and tips on critique and feedback in the following chapters :) It's a mutual thing. We need to both be good, understanding humans. Easy. Because we are, aren't we? :)
