There was an intriguing set up. I liked how you told us the backstory but it wasn't forced; it was just informative.

Great mc - really empathised with her.

Really would have loved more description pretty much everywhere. When you described the characters, it was good but still a little blunt.

Occasional dialogue errors but nothing serious.

Overall, a really, really enticing start. This could really be something good.
