The bus ride home wasn't very pleasant.  It was 100 degrees more scorching than it was in the morning. Not only that, but the girl I saw-who's name I remember as Lynia- was no where to be seen. Huh, maybe she only takes the bus during the morning?

Oh well.

I thought it best to get a stretch at my legs after sitting for those long, torturous hours. 3 stops before mine, and I decided to get off here. But before I stepped off, the bus driver stopped me."Now there, child. Ain't your stop a couple blocks from here?" he asked, closing the bus door. "And it's about to rain, eh? Wouldn't want to get wet out there!"

Turning around, I see a look of actual concern, and I find it quite comforting. Luckily though, I watch the news. "Thank you, but I brought an umbrella! I'll be fine," I inform him. He nods in approval and opens the exit.

I lied.

I mean, I did watch the news! But I definitely did not bring an umbrella. As guilty as I was for lying, what's a little drizzle gonna do? I love rain! Especially dancing in it. The pitter patter of the droplets gives the perfect beat to dance to, and a wonderful scenery! Oh, and the beautiful rainbow that comes after the rain! What's not to love?

Drip

Drop

Drip

And as if on cue, the grey clouds began to precipitate. A soft wind picked up as I placed my headphones on, tightly securing my hoodie to protect them. I hum to the lovely tune of the song from my all time favourite musical; Singing in the rain- Singing in the rain.

I'm Singing In The Rain

Just Singing in the Rain!

Water swirls around me as I do a small twirl in a big puddle, carelessly getting my outfit all muddy and wet. I couldn't care less!

What A Glorious Feeling

I'm Happy Again!

The rain pours down harder, making this all the more fun! I clutch on tightly to the slippery lamp post and slip and slide around it, the lively melody coursing through my veins.

I'm Laughin' At The Clouds

So Dark Up Above

Doing a little jig with my feet, I throw my hands up in the air and let the water droplets fling off my fingertips.

The Sun's In My Heart

And I'm Ready For Love

Ah, I dance to that! I've been ready for love ever since I laid eyes on the hot, James Dean! I mean... His lean~! Raise a glass to JJ for introducing me to that damn hot tamale~

Let The Stormy Clouds Chase

Everyone From The Place

I continue to let loose and dance freely. I hop, shimmy, but then unexpectedly bump into something, causing me to fall back into a giant, muddy puddle.

A familiar voice speaks up.

"Oh no! I'm so so sorry!"

Hold up. Is that...?
