Anemone's POV

Ooooh it feels so good to be back in the open air... water just- I dont know. Its overrated. Way overrated. Her wings felt so free in the open air, even though her wings were sore from not being used, she was just so grateful to have wings again. It was almost daylight; the night always went by fast for her. Maybe it was the moon born thing.
Suddenly, the weird feeling came back again from when she was becoming a stupid fish breath mermaid. Wait a minute... I have fish breath! What am I thinking?!
Her tail once agin had the fins that looked like her wings, her claws were now flat hard things on her talons that are no longer talons, and her whole skull morphed into a ovalish head with strings coming out of it, which were really long.
"What? No! What?!!!" She screamed, falling into the sea, "Please tell me I still have the gem!" She pleads, looking into her pocket. She had taken the little sling pouch out of her sleeping spot, thinking it was left there from a past Mer that lived there.
The beautiful blue-green gem is GONE. ITS GONE!!! She looked around looking for it, and saw nothing but a Mer starring at Anemone flailing in fury from a long distance. The castle was visible too, though tiny. It flowed like the gem she had just lost.
She saw lots of tiny black swarms. Mers? Thats odd. Most mers at the Coral Reef... are wearing black. She swam up the the annoying Mer, who was starting to look away as she came closer. "Um, excuse me? Why is everyone in black?"
Wow! I got over there fast. I must be getting used to my stupid four finned tail thing!
"Because a mermaid was killed..." He replied. He didn't seem too worried about it, he was probably more concerned about Anemone not knowing.
"What? How?" Anemone asked. "What was its name?"
"Oh, its odd, but she was killed by a Dragon. Oh- her name was Anemone."
This made Anemone flinch. Did someone figure me out? Does someone know?
Unexpected, the Mer swims away, as if he didn't care at all. Clearly it wasn't a big deal for her to die. Maybe a lot of Mer are killed by dragons each day?
"What? Oh, no. Crystal!... She must actually care about me?!? Was she really crying?!? Oh moonstar." She muttered to herself.
