Phoenix's POV

Anemone floated in place near a castle, seeming... upset. Phoenix had a big smile on her face once she saw the Double-Winged Serpent's princess. "ANEMONE!!!" She yelped, swimming pretty fast over to her.
"What? How!? Who!?!?" Anemone yelled in shock, her bright emerald eyes opened wide.
"Oh my gosh! You are even prettier as a mermaid! Oh, Tigereye!" Phoenix rambled on.
"Ummm..."
Maybe it wasn't right to say that. She seems pretty offended... and confused.
"Oh! Sorry... I'm Phoenix!!!" She smiled, flapping her tail instead of her wing, because she didn't have wings anymore. Dragons usually greet each other by waving a wing. She waited for Anemone to catch on.
"Moonstar!!!" Anemone yelped, and started flapping her own tail. She stopped with a confused expression. "So... you're... the princess of the Wyverns? Why are you here...?" She asked.
Phoenix looked into Anemone's beautiful green eyes, then behind her at the castle, then back. "Well, I wanted to have more friends but.... Also... the Princes have the curse too!" She yelped, "I know! It's crazy!"
Anemone looked at her blankly. "Why...?"
"Ok... it's weird. I know, but-"
"Hey, do you ladies know where to find princess... Crystal?" A Mer asked, his eyes an Icy blue, and the scales on his tail were spiky, almost like icicles, which were also blue. He had a smile on his face, and he had an expression that looked like he was thinking.
Anemone stared at him. "Uhh... No... I don't know what is going on in the palace but... I wouldn't go in there if I were you..." She replied hesitantly. Phoenix hoped they didn't get caught from not being an actual mermaid.
"Uhh... so if I can't see Crystal.... then can I see Anemone? I heard she was... killed...." He asked.
Anemone jumped back, close to growling. "NO! IM ALIVE!!! How many times Do I have to say that!!!" Anemone yelled.
Phoenix smiled nervously. "Once, Anemone."
"Ugh!!! Everyone thinks I'm dead, Phoenix!!!"
"Anemone!!! Phoenix!!!" The Merman smiled at them happily, holding his arms out like he wanted to hug them. "I'm Prince Avalanche!"
"Avalanche!!! Oh my Tigereye!!! Phoenix gasped. She couldn't refuse to hug him.
"Ok... three cursed dragons who are now Mer Creatures are here, there are four kingdoms..." Anemone paused. "Where's Scorch?"
Phoenix watched Avalanche's face light up.
"You don't know where he is??? Thank Arctic..." Avalanche then did a little fist pump.
"Uh why...?" She asked, then looking over to Anemone. "Oh never mind..." Phoenix sighed.
Anemone looked around, then over at both Phoenix and Avalanche. "Wait, why is Scorch down here anyway?"
