Kannamma's POV!

After eating our breakfast, We washed our hands and turned to go downstairs. Maya stopped me by helding my wrist. Kathir was also stopped by Kavin. We both saw them with confused faces.

You both owe us an explanation! You have to tell that after these functions! Maya ordered. We both shared caught look and nodded.

Then we all went down stairs. Everyone were seated. Both bride and groom's family seated opposite to each other. I and maya went to groom's side. And Kathir and Kavin went and sat in bride's side.

The function gets started. First we, groom's side gave flowers(Jasmine) in a plate to bride's side. Kayal ma took the plate and went to anni's room with some ladies.

After 15 mins, Ilakya came in a green colour saree with head full of Jasmine flowers! My anna saw her in 'Aww' with a opened mouth!

I went near my anna Close your saliva factory bro! Already 1000 flies entered your O shaped mouth!😝 I said with a chuckle. He closed his mouth immediately and tried to glare me but his lips betrayed him by smiling with a blush 😂

She sat opposite to Mughil. The priest started reading their wedding dates saying their names with parents and grandparents names. It is called 'Lagna pathrikai' in tamil.

They both shared number of eye locks and blushed profusely🙈. Me and maya teased him to the hell. He tried to warn us and glare us. But all went in vain. His glares and warnings turned into blushing smiles and whispers after seeing anni's eyes.

Then after all the rituals, Kathir started to took pics in his camera. And Kavin took snaps in his mobile.

My anna and ilakya both were very shy even to stand together. Me and maya tried to act cute poses to give them a idea to pose for photos. Kathir and Kavin were laughed at us. We glared them. They both palmed their mouth trying to control the laughter.

At last, they pose some simple poses. Then they asked us to come and took pics along with couples.

First my family went and took pic and then ilakya's family went. Of course ! Along with Kathir!. I and maya take the camera from them and took snaps.

Then Maya dragged Kavin and she stood beside him asking me to took their snaps. I mentally twisted my lips and rolled my eyes at them!😒

Then Kathir dragged winking at me giving the camera to Kavin. But maya came stood besides me giving Kathir's a funny face😝. He twisted his lips glaring her which she didn't even care.😂

After everything, we all were tired. Elders started to have a conversation. Mughil and Ilakya were sits besides each other and talked slowly. Me and maya was left alone.

We saw Kavin and Kathir. They gestured us to come. We both went behind them. They both went to the backyard garden.

Explain!! Maya ordered as soon as we entered the backyard.

Kavin came at this time and saw the three of us with a confused face. I held Kathir's shoulder and he placed his arm around my shoulder for balance. Kavin frowned.

He came near us and took kathir's hand from my shoulder and placed it around his shoulder.

Then we too went inside. After sometime, we all headed to our home.

After that convo, I slept😴 thinking about today's happenings.

Today is Sunday! Yes! We all are going for shopping! Yayyyy!!

I woke up and took a quick shower and dressed myself in a ink blue with black colour chudi. Maya got ready in her red color chudi and mughil in skyblue shirt!

We all went to T nagar straight. They said that they'll come there directly.

We all waited for them in near the shop entrance! They all came. Of course including Kathir!

We all exchanged our greetings and went inside the shop. Kavin and me exchanged secret glances. I don't know why my heart betrayed me everytime by beating fast whenever seeing him.

Everyone started to purchase for bride's engagement saree first. That we have to buy that and will give her in that day. And they'll buy dress for my anna and give in that day.

After around 30 minutes, We finally selected the saree or should I say my brother selected the saree! Yeah! Because My anni agreed whatever anyone picks as the engagement saree. But being adamant like a 5 year kid, my anna rejected everything saying some lame reasons till himself selected one saree!

But I should agree his selections are too good! Even he is the one who selects for us too.

He selected one 'Tiffany blue' color silk saree with dark brown border!

Then we started selecting the wedding saree! This time, we all stepped back and told him select whatever saree he likes for his wife! He smiled sheepishly and dragged us too.

After around an hour, he selected one red color saree!

Seeing this much time taken for selecting one saree, me and maya decided to go and select our dresses separately!

Because there is reception dress is left still. My anna and anni were arguing that which dress they should wear for reception! Anni saying saree! But anna saying lehanga! I know at last, my anna only will win🤭!

We both went to simple saree section for me to select for engagement. I saw many sarees, but still I can't able to select!

I tried by putting it in my shoulder too! But still I'm confused. Finally, I took 2 which the one is orange with light red and another one is pink with violet.

I took that 2 sarees in my both hands and went near mirror!

My heart beat raised seeing his reflection in that mirror. He casually looked at the mirror and saw me.

Oh my god! Is it his eyes having gravitational force or what!?

His look turned towards the sarees. He finally looked at the red one which I like the most and saw my eyes in the mirror. Again he saw that red saree to confirm. I took both to the counter and selected the red one without any second thoughts which I don't know why!

After that we selected half saree for Maya! And we selected for wedding also. I selected one silk saree and maya selected the skyblue color saree. And for reception too. We selected dresses! For me, yellow colour masthani. And for maya, violet velvet lehenga.

After purchasing all, we went to bill counter! There every dress we purchased was there. After paying bills, we headed to jewellery shop to buy rings.

When we entered the shop, I saw him again!! The last person I expected to see!!!!

My heart beat raised. My head started aching. Tears pooled in my eyes. He grinned evilly. Everyone went forward and went upstairs. I was still in entrance alone! My legs become weak.

His grin widened and he came towards me..
