Sympathy is a shared feeling, usually of sorrow, pity or compassion for another person which is like FRIENDSHIP.

Empathy is the ability to put yourself in the place of another and understand someone else's feelings by identifying with them which is like LOVE.

Kavin's POV!

What Jo mean by I'm her wrong call?!

I searched her through the crowd. But she was no where to be found. Kathir shook me.

What are you looking at machan? He asked me. I shook my head negatively.

After sometime, the function started. The photo and video recording was going on. But Mughil and Ilakya both were poor in posing couple pics. I tried to explain them some poses while Pooja came and started posed with me to explain them.

Then Pooja left me to that side of the stage. Within mins, she called me loudly that too standing near kannamma. I saw them confused of why she's calling me now. She told me to stand for youngsters group pic. We took some pics and family pics too.

After that, we all went to terrace to have our lunch. I saw kannamma who stood up from her seat with a disturbed mind. Kathir stopped her and asked her to sit and eat. But she is still in that Dull face.

I know why she is like that. It's because of that caterers, I guess. But I taught them a good lesson that day itself. So no need to worry ryt!

As like I thought, they apologized to her. She immediately snapped at me with a surprised face and smiled at me. I too smiled at her.

Then we all started eating our lunch. But this crazy Pooja snatched sweet and side dishes from my leaf! I glared her and snatched her food giving a funny faces. While we enjoying this, I casually spotted them.

Kathir was feeding something in her mouth. Like adding fuel to my annoyance, she too feed him that damn sweet! Actually what they are doing!??????

I didn't asked anything about her to Kathir till now. But I'm not sure how long I'm going to be like this. Because I'm not good at keeping something in my heart for too long.

Then after that, the function got over and everyone went to their home.

Soon the dinner time came and we had our dinner. I went to my room to sleep. I went to rest room to brush my teeth and when I came from that restroom, Pooja was already sitting in my bed surfing something in my mobile.

Hey enna d panra en mobile la?

I asked her.

Nothing da! Just searching some good tamil songs to share with my mobile. She said. I nodded.

She started play songs in my mobile. She played the song 'Kannamma unna manasil nenaikuren' song from the movie 'Ispade rajavum idhaya raniyum'

She grinned teasingly at me. I asked her to stop that song. But she is no mood to listen me. The song already started to play. She gestured me to sat beside her. I sat without any choice.

I was lost in the lyrics and thoughts of her. I was already imagining her in front of me in a red color saree with a red round bindi in between her arch like eyebrows. Jasmine flowers in her head with that mesmerizing smile of hers. She is wearing a flower Garland in her neck. I was about to pull her cheeks....

Someone patted my head. I hissed and rubbing my head in irritation.

Kanavu kandathu pothum sir! Konjam nigalkaalathuku vanga!

(Enough dreaming sir! Come to the present now!)

Ammu said.

Why you did this loosu! I was about to pull her cheeks you know! It's my long time wish!

I said without my control. She grinned at me teasingly again

I glared her to escape from her teasings and tried to snatch the mobile from her. But the next audio started to play already. I heard the familiar voice.

That was that scam call audio which I recorded that day. Pooja stopped playing with me and started to listen to it carefully.

She laughed her heart out listening that audio because of that weird wordings.

Who's this Kavin? I can't able to control laughing! She said while laughing.

I too don't know! But hearing it now.. It feels so familiar! Who could it be? I asked her with same confusion.

Uhmm.. Yeah! The voice is quite familiar! She too said.

Suddenly I remembered that Jo said about that wrong call to kannamma! Then is it kannamma?

Kannamma! I voiced my thought. Pooja saw me confused and then nodded her head.

When this happened and how Kavin? Why she did like that? She asked me with a perplexed face.

I told her about the matter that I got this call before arranging mughil and ilakya's marriage. And I also told her about what jo told in morning.

So may be she mistakenly called you! She said.

But I'm not sure that she is this call. Because I didn't talked with her in mobile properly. So I'm oblivious about her voice in mobile. I said.

She took her mobile immediately and called her putting it in speaker mode. Kannamma attended the call in 7 th ring.

And we both confirmed her voice within minutes. Ammu told my long time wish to her while grinning at me. I saw everywhere but her to get escape from her further teasings.

Ammu mentioned me stupid to her. So I hitted her head playfully. But this crazy ammu told that too.

I thought to ask about ammu's love now. But my mom came to my room at the moment.

You both were still awake? Ammu! Go to your room and sleep! It's already late.

My amma warned. Ammu went to her room without any choice.

I mentally thought to ask kannamma about this in our next meeting. Because I want to see her reaction when I ask this.

But we didn't meet for more than 3 weeks after that day. In these 3 weeks, I asked ammu one day about her love. She simply said that they both were not in good relationship as they had a fight. She promised me to introduce him once she sort out her fight with him.

His name is Rakshan. And he is a friend of her in London. He seems like a good guy. I saw his pic. He is quite handsome though. I have to know about him soon to assure my ammu's life.

Today is Sunday. I was in our small backyard garden while drinking tea! Pooja came with bright smiling face.

Kavin! I'm bored here! Can we go to some place today.. May be for a movie? She asked me with a longing eyes.

I nodded with a smile. Even me too bored by my usual works and all.

She asked amma and appa. They both agreed but they didn't allow ilakya as she is not allowed to roam outside unwantedly after her engagement especially.

She called kannamma and they too agreed. I texted Kathir. He said double ok.

Within mins, Maya called ammu and pleaded to ask permission from ezhil ma.

Ammu called her and with her buttering skills, she made her agree with her within minutes.

We got ready and went to theater. We spotted them in the crowd.

She is wearing white shirt and jean. It was the first I saw her in western outfit. I saw her with o mouth and widening eyes.

Ammu came near my ears and whispered Dei romba valiyuthu da.. Vaaya moodu first uh!

(Hey you are dribbling man.. Shut your mouth first!)

She said. I immediately averted my gaze from her. Then we entered the cinema hall.  The movie was quite interesting.

After more than half an hour, kannamma stood up and excused herself from us. Her face looks quite not good even in that dim light also. But I shrugged it off thinking that it was my imagination.

But she didn't arrived for more than 15 minutes which made me restless little. I thought to search and excused myself from there saying that I'm going to restroom.

The place is empty as it's show time. I spotted her from a distance with someone. I didn't see his face as his back is facing me. I called her loudly. She looked here and there to search me.

But that guy left fastly before I could reach them. Then only I noticed her face, she looks absolutely scared and to the top of it, she's crying. My heart ached seeing her in that state.

I asked her what happened and did that guy do something with her. But she didn't answered me instead she hugged me tightly.

I stiffened first because of her sudden act. But knowing her condition, I tried to console her. I let her cry in my arms till she separated from me.

She looks disturbed. I know if I question her now, then she'll be more stressed. So I bought water bottle and gave it to her to relax herself little. She drank that water in a go.

I was about ask what happened.. But got interrupted by Kathir. I saw her like this in that day when we went for shopping. Now she is in that state only. I know she is hiding something from everyone. I have to find it soon.

Like adding more suspicions, Kathir and she had eye conversation which they thought I can't understand. But I noticed it. I mentally noted to ask Kathir about her later.

After that, we had our dinner in a restaurant and Kathir accompanied them to their home as it's not safe to  send them alone. I insisted to go. But I can't let ammu go home alone. So he promised me that he'll drop them safely.

After that, I went to home and slept thinking why kannamma is behaving strange sometimes. Is someone bothering her? Could it be that guy in theater today?

The next day, I called Kathir early at past 7. Because I can't sleep with the disturbing thoughts. He attended and talked with me in his sleepy voice.

I asked him to come to xyz cafe at 8. He asked why but I didn't said anything and just ordered him to come.

I reached that cafe at sharp 8. He too came after 5 minutes. We both ordered coffee. He saw me curiously.

Tell me machan! Why you called me this much earlier? Any problem? He started to question me with curiosity.

I want to know about kannamma! I said. His expression changed nervously.

Uhm.. What da? What about her!?  He said with a nervous laugh.

What happened yesterday? I know that you know something that I didn't know! What is that? Tell me machan. Please! I asked him little pleadingly.

That.. No machan.. That's not a big thing like you think! He tried to conceal it.

Machan please! You very well know that if I got doubt in something, I can't able to sleep properly! What is that you can't even share with me? I asked him. He let out a sigh.

Machan! Ok! There is something which I can't share you about kannamma. And I'm not in the place to reveal it! Someone is bothering her who is her collegue when she worked in college. And I don't know what happened and why he is following her. She didn't shared me either. But I can say that he is dangerous fellow. If you want you can ask her straight! He said with finality.

I nodded after thinking for 5 minutes. I called her immediately and asked her to come to this cafe and hung up. I thought that it may be simple issue but seeing his nervousness, I'm sure that it will be a big serious issue.

She came after 20 mins. She looked perplexed seeing both of us.

KANNAMMA'S POV!

I reached there within 20 mins. I saw Kathir and him in one table!

What Kathir is doing here?

Did he told him about Rakesh?

No he won't! He promised me ryt?

I stepped near them with these thoughts. Kathir saw me helplessly.

I sat opposite to them. Kavin was looking damn serious now. His charming smile is replaced by a tension.

Uhmm.. What happened? Why you called me immediately saying it's urgent and important? I asked them.

Kannamma! What happened yesterday? What are you hiding from everyone? You were looked the same in that day when we went for shopping! What happened!?? What's bothering you! He asked me questions which I felt like bullets from a gun.

Uhm... What.. What happened? Nothing! I faked a laugh and saw Kathir to help me. Bug he lowered his face.

Nothing?? Why kannamma? Why you can't even share me? Am I a stranger to you? He asked me with hurt in his voice.

No.. No.. Not like that! Even Kathir too don't know about anything fully! I can't share even to my amma and appa and my anna too! I can't.. I just can't! I said but tears welled up in my eyes.

No kannamma! You have to share it now! With us! What the hell happened!?? Who's that guy yesterday you were talking with him? It's not good to bottle up something in your heart for long. Everything will be revealed someday! Just think it as today and tell us! He said calmly.

He is ryt! Everything will be revealed one day and I can't conceal something for so long. The truth will be revealed sooner or later. And moreover, that devil is eyeing kavin too.

So he needs to know the truth. And I have to less the burden in my chest! I can't tolerate it anymore. I mustered up the courage to share them the whole truth!

I sighed deeply before explaining him.

They both let out sigh of relief and smiled little.

Flashback starts!

It was a fine day. I was taking lecture for my students. Recently, there were so much of gossips and news about students missing in this college. Police investigation is also happening but no clue for anything.

And my close friend named Chandrika also missed few days back. Her parents filed a case and the case is still going and no clue or improvement in that too.

The class got over. I packed my stuffs to go to my home. But stopped seeing two students were standing in front of Rakesh sir's staff room.

He is my collegue. But he is more powerful than me as he is a friend of the owner of this college. He is jovial type guy.

I wonder why they were standing there. I went near them and asked why they were standing here. They answered that Rakesh sir ordered them to be here till he arrives. It was already late. Then why he is doing like that.

I asked them to go saying that I'll inform him. They left. Within 5 mins, he came searching them everywhere.

"What happened rakesh? Any problem?" I asked him.

"Uhmm. Nothing kannamma! What are you doing here?" He asked me back.

"I saw some students here. I asked them to go as it was late already. What sir! Anything important with them? I asked him. He looked at me.

" Uhmm.. Nothing. It's ok! Bye!" He said and left.

The next day too the girls were standing near his staff room. But I shrugged it off thinking it may be their punishment for not attending class like that.

But I heard news about that two students were missing the next day. This incident seeded a doubt in me about that Rakesh!

Then again one day after two weeks from that incident, I saw another 2 students were standing outside of his staff room. This time, I decided to found the truth. I hided behind a tree. He came after 15 mins, he talked with them something that I can't able to hear.

Then he lead them to somewhere. I followed them. They stopped in front of one small room which is secluded from the college. I don't even know about this place in this college. This increased my suspicions.

He lead them inside and he went somewhere after checking everywhere. I quickly ran to the room and opening it, I entered and saw that he tied both the students in  two chairs. I gasped seeing them.

I ran and quickly untied the knots and asked them to run from there. They ran after thanking me.

When I was about to close the door and escape, he came! He saw me shocked. He quickly pushed me inside locking the door.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He yelled at me.

I don't know this side of him. It was horrifying.

"I know everything about you! I'm going to tell police everything! You are the one who is the reason for the students missing cases isn't it?" I asked him.

He saw me worriedly.

"Oh my god kanns! Please don't do this to me! I.. I didn't do it intentionally! My life will be ruined if you did so.. Please help me kannamma... Please!" He shouted with a pleading expression then it changed into a devilish laugh.

"Hahhahaha.. What you thought? That I'll plead you like this! Never! Never kannama.. Never in your dreams too. Yes! I'm the reason for all this! I'll sell them for prostitution. If they annoy me more means, I'll kill them! And you don't know anything kannamma! If you want to know, then I'll teach you everything!"

Saying this, he came near me. I stepped backwards. I tried to call police, but he snatched my mobile.

"No.. No. No.. I'll never touch a girl like you! You fatty pig! But there are so many who wants like you fatty! I'll sell you to them! Don't worry! They'll satisfy your all needs!"

He said. I saw him with disgusted.

"But before that, you have to know something dear. See this!"

Saying this, he played videos in the small size screen inserting some pendrives.

I felt like vomiting seeing that clips. It was a rape clips which some animals raped the innocent students. So many of them jumped on girl, assaulting and harassing her to hell that she died at last. They even beat with iron rods and all.

He played many clips. I turned my face not able to see that. But he clutched my hair making me to see that! I closed my eyes. Tears started flowing down from my eyes.

"Please... Please stop this! Please!" I begged him while crying vigorously.

He laughed.

"No dear! These are all just samples! You have to see the important thing! You know what happened to chandrika? She too like you.. Smart and find this.. So I did something to her. And I desperately want to show it to you now!" He said and played one clip.

That was chandrika, he slapped her. But she tried to call police. In a moment, he snatched it from her and asked her to be quite. But she shouted at him while glaring him.

He pushed her to 3 animals who's eyes is full of lust. They raped her. She tried her best to escape but they behaved like animals and raped her. She sat with a tired face not even able to stand with naked body which is full of scratches and wound with blood. They did which I can't able tell with my own mouth!

At that time, he splashed a bottle full of liquid over her body. She screamed her heart out in pain. That's acid?

Within minutes, her body became decaying, she screamed and fainted after that.

They didn't left her like that. They checked she is still breathing or not. When they found she is still alive.

'Bloody adamant chick!' One of them said and started chopping her with some sharp instruments. They chopped her into pieces..

I vomitted seeing that clip. He turned it off. And laughed.

"How is it kanns? And you know one thing! You are also going to die like this! Usually I'm not interested in fatty pigs like you. But seeing your cherry like lips! I can't control.. Let me taste it first!" Saying this he came near me and tried to kiss me.

I pushed him with all my force. He fell down on floor and got injured by the desk.

"You bloody bitch! You want to die.. Then I'm ok with it too!" Saying this, he went inside and took one bottle.. Acid bottle! And came near me opening it.

He started to splash it on my face. I covered my face with my palms!
