Kavin's POV!

We all entered into train. Actually the reserved seats are not in same wagons as we didn't booked tickets for everyone at a time.

First, I decided to settle elders! We booked 11 tickets for both of our families at first. So we settled both of our parents with some of our neighbors with them because they are all also old and they can't be in separate wagons and it's our duty to take care of them ryt?

Then we settled girls in one wagon and there are 10 girls namely Ilakya, Kannamma, Ammu, Maya, Maya's frnd Kavita, and Ilakya's friends 5!

In one berth, there are 5 seats and the other 5 seats are in next berth. So, Ilakya's frnds settled in one berth whereas the other 5 settled in another one.

After that we went to our wagon. We boys totally are 10. I, Kathir, Mughil machan, his friends 4 and my friends 3.

We all settled in two berths. We started talking random things. But my thoughts were already fully occupied by her! I badly want to see her.. Especially her smile! Her cute expressions!

Aww!!! I'm missing her too much...

Dei machan!! Deiiiii...... My frnd Murali's voice make me came out of my thoughts.

What da? I asked him perplexed not knowing what they were discussing about just now.

He asked me to buy alcohol, wine, beer everything as a treat for Ilakya's b'day. I and Kathir are teetotaller actually. But we have to buy them this as they are also our friends. Otherwise, they'll never leave us alive!

But here, Mughil machan also there.. So how can I let them drink in front of him. Then what'll he think about me? Moreover, how can he trust me when I ask for his sister's hand ryt?😌

Murali said making my eyes widened! Mughil machan gave me the same look!

Uhmm.. Machan.. Then do you drink?? I asked Mughil machan little hesitantly.

It's true, I cross checked him thoroughly but still I need answer from his mouth.

No.. I and Kathir are teetotallers! So.. You too bought drinks ryt? I asked him. He nodded helplessly looking at me.

Thank god! I and Kathir had a company then! I said sheepishly smiling at him.

So we are going to have bachelor party!! Yayyy!! Murali yelled in excitement.

Don't get caught by TTR da.. If he asks us means, we'll pretend like we don't even know you since birth!  I said little warningly. He nodded responsibly.

Suddenly my mobile started ringing, I took and saw that caller id. It was from Ilakya!

Why she is calling me now?

I attended the call.

What happened d? Why are you calling me now! I asked her.

Anna! Here, there are 3 boys who's looking like a drunkard with soft drinks bottle in their hands. They looks scary and the smell of alcohol is irritating us na.. Should we inform TTR?? She asked me.

No d.. Wait we'll be there soon! With this I hung up.

What happened machi? Who called? Kathir asked me.

Ilakya da.. She's telling that there are some boys who is probably drunk is sitting with them. So she is asking me that what could she do! I said.

What?? Who's that? Let's go there and broke their hands! Mughil machan said frustrated.

Ada cool down machan.. They're not misbehaving actually. They just drinking in front of them. Let's go and talk with them or we should ask them to exchange our seats.. What's say?! Kathir said in which he seems to be convinced.

But about them? Mughil asked pointing towards our frnds.

Murali came near us asking what happened. We said the story.

Hey! Don't worry da.. I'll take care here. You go and sent them here da.. Who knows may be we can get extra company in our party ryt?😉 Murali said with a wink.

I shook my head in disbelief.

But.. Murali! Remember! We are here with family. So please don't spoil your names with the name drunkard and moreover, the train will reach thirunelveli at early morning itself so be careful that you all don't cross limits and lose your conscious. I warned him.

Then we three went to the wagon where they are!

We reached there. Ammu came near us.

What happened d? Did they misbehaved?? Who are they? Didn't you know karate? Why don't you kick them then!? I started asking questions.

Kavin.. Stop da! I know that. But they didn't disturbed us instead we are annoyed and nauseated because of that disgusting alcohol smell! That's it! She said with a sigh!

Ohhh hooo! I said with a sheepish grin😁.

She dragged us near them. They 3 looks decent yet they are little drunk which is evident by the smell.

I went near them.

Brother! If you don't mind.. Can you please exchange your seats with us? I asked them politely.

Why? Why we have to exchange our seats? One of them asked.

That!.. See.. We are going to our native for my sister's marriage. She is my sister and he is going to be my brother in law. And here girls are all disturbed by your alcohol smell.. And moreover can't you think it's a pity to separate these two who can't even see after this till their marriage! I said. He thought for a moment.

Then only I remembered about the trio who exchanged our seats. I called Murali and enquired him about them.

He said that the three were very friendly and one of the best companies in their party. I felt relieved hearing that.

Here, we all started talking some random things. Mughil machan and Ilakya had number of eye locks and blushing moments. Ammu, Kannamma, Kathir, Maya and her frnd started teasing them to hell.. And me too😅

Later we shared our dinner. And started talking.

Machan! Tell me something about thirunelveli! I never went there before.. How it will feels? What's special there! And what's new in there? Kathir asked.

Why are you asking us? Your grandma is there only ryt? Maya asked him with a chuckle in which everyone laughed. He glared us with a pout.

Maya.. Shut up d.. I'll tell Kathir! Leave her. Kannamma said with a smile in which he nodded like a kid.

There are so many things special in thirunelveli! The most known is Halwa and Aruva(Billhook). But there are so many beautiful things are there which is not so popular. There are so many temples and waterfalls are there. Like Papanasam falls and temple, Banatheertham falls, Manimuththaru dam and falls.. Etc.. There are so many places are there. Like Kalakadu wildlife Sanctuary and hill regions too..

And talking about our native village.. It was purely a bliss to be there! There were full of our relatives who cares us lot! And the time will pass just like that without even mobile and TV there. I love calves so much😍 and goats which are grown up by my relatives.. And about my aunt! She is my favorite! At first, we'll come here every year once.. But during recent years, we didn't because of appa's works..

And moreover, My aunt lost her smile a year ago.. So.. Let's not talk about that now.. That's it Kathir!

She said in which her face became sad when she mentioned about her aunt! I badly want to know what happened but seeing her face I just tried to divert her..

So did you come to Thiruchendur murugan temple before? I asked to divert the topic.

Yes! We came there for Prathap machan's marriage ryt kanns? Maya asked which made kannamma more sad. She just nodded with a fake smile.

Then I poured 8 cups of coffee for us from the flask which we took with us.

Then we started talking about our school days and college days like that.. Yes! We teased the couple to the core. I and Kannamma shared number of eyelocks too. She smiles at me and even stared me sometimes but averted her gaze whenever I looked at her.

We didn't slept for the whole night having fun talks and pulling each other legs. Just cousin's things😌..

Time is past 4 in early morning. We are about to reach our destination in half an hour.

I decided to call Murali to check whether he is up or already flattered because of their bachelors party in train. Surprisingly, he attended my call in 3rd ring.

Hello machan.. Don't worry I'm already up! He said as soon as he attended the call.

Thank god! I thought you are drunk.. I replied him with a sigh a relief.

How can I da? That too when kayal ma and karthi pa is around us. They know and respect me so much. I don't want to ruin my image da. So I just drank a peg. He replied calmly which made me relaxed.

No da.. There is not even a single drop left! We poured everything to the trio whom you sent here da😌😅 They had a great time. Now they are totally intoxicated and sleeping soundly in their berths. He said calmly making me chuckle.

Ok ok.. But just eat some guava leaves, or halls chocolate to get rid of that smell after gargling your mouth with a mouth wash.. Okay? I said hanging up after he said okay.

Is everyone up? Kathir asked me. I nodded and told him what Murali told me.

Haha😂 great da.. I think their destination is Kanyakumari.. That's why they didn't care about anything and got drunk ryt? He asked me while laughing.

Then only I remembered them telling that they are also coming to thirunelveli ryt? I gave him a oops reaction. He gave me a questioning look.

Actually they trio also thirunelveli da! I forgot that. Come lets go there and wake them up by ourselves. And moreover we three have to be there before we reach thirunelveli as our parents will be lecture us if they come to know that bride and groom are together yesterday. I said. He nodded knowingly.

Then we informed Mughil machan and everyone and left to our place.

There we saw them sound sleeping.

I went near the one whom I talked with before and shook him little saying Brother wake up! Your destination is here.. I'm Kavin.. Wake up!!

He slowly opened his eyes little and smiled at me.

Hey brother.. Ponnu crt aacha.. Gundu gundu.. Gundu ponnu.. Kooputucha rendu kannu!!!! Oops.. Extra cute ponnu la..

He started blabbering.. And sang the song from 'Dhool' movie slightly changing the lyrics.

I placed my hand on his mouth before he could blabber extreme. And splashed the water on his face with force. He jerked and got up immediately.

I just told him we are about to reach as I can't talk or scold because Kathir and Mughil machan was here.

Later that, we reached Thirunelveli exactly at half past 4.

We all got down from train and met our parents in platform. We greeted each other.

Within 5 mins, we saw my thatha(grandpa) who's standing near the entrance hesitantly.

Didn't he told that he'll sent driver here?

We all went near him. We all youngsters got blessing from him. He smiled. Still my dad and him didn't talked even a bit.

Mughil called someone. And within 15 mins, car arrived for them from his frnd. They left after bidding bye to us. Kannamma turned and looked at me one last time with a smile. That was more than enough for me.

Karthi.. I'm really sor.. Before my thatha could complete, my appa cut him off in middle.

No pa.. I have to apologize to you. Your decision was not yet fully right but still I had to sort it out with you sooner. I made you wait for these long years. I can now understand your decision as a father when I'm going to giving my daughter's hand to someone pa.. I'm really sorry. Will you accept my apology? My appa said in which my thatha engulfed him in a tight hug. They both had tears in their eyes.

Enough.. Enough of your emotional dramas. We are in railway station thatha! Ilakya said playfully in which my amma patted her head little.

Then we all went to our home!!!😌 it was a huge traditional house. So my friends are in separate room. I and Kathir are in one room.

We all slept not caring about anything the next second we entered the room.

I got up irritatedly by the alarm. I saw the time rubbing my eyes while yawning. It was past 6. I quickly went to restroom and brushed my teeth and doing my morning chores. I came outside.

Kathir was still sleeping in a weird position like his left leg facing south and right leg facing north with a open mouth while snoring. I can't control my laughter. I quickly took my mobile and recorded a video of him.

Today we have lots of works here like distributing invitations, then arrangements for wedding.. Everything! But see my dear friend is sleeping here peacefully.

I slowly patted him. Kathir! Get up da!! No response.

I shook him little.

Sir.. Sorry sir.. I didn't lied.. Please forgive me sir. I have family and my family is depends on my salary only. Its my dream job sir. Please don't fire me sir. I kicked him in his butt cheeks with a force in which he fell down on floor from bed.

He woke up screaming in pain.

Dei stupid why you kicked me da? He asked me in annoyance.

Because I heard what you were blabbering in your dream! I said in a warning tone. He thought for few minutes and smiled sheepishly.

That's Just a dream da. Nothing serious.😅😁😁 hehe.. He smiled sheepishly at me.

Then after freshening up, we had our coffee which was prepared by my paati! Then we went to see thatha to know some details about the arrangement things and rituals. He was in our agri field watering them by motor.

He instructed me the pending works of Ilakya's wedding because he already had done some. He even insisted to take the financial responsibility for the wedding here by him.

We did what thatha told us like inviting some people. And we took a glance at wedding hall. We booked catering and all..

The day went just like that. The next day. We are talking with our families. That's when my paati told that we have to buy some sarees for our close relatives here as it was also one of the rituals.

As elders were busy in their own works, they asked us to go for shopping. My other friends didn't came as they got some new friends here who are my childhood friends. And they are bored of shoppings. Kathir too tried to make some excuses but whom he is talking! I can't leave him easily.

Ammu came with us. That time, Kathir called Kannamma to know if she need anything from shop as we are going to shopping.

I mentally rolled my eyes! Like seriously? Why he have to be so so.. Whatever!😒 I'm annoyed!!

Within 5 minutes, she called him back saying that she and maya too coming with us as they also have to buy sarees for their relatives and the elders are busy so they are coming.

We asked them to wait that we'll pick up them in their home. We started to her home by the help of the location which she sent to Kathir.
