I, John Laurens, am an anomaly. A flaw. A glitch. A... mistake.
Before we get into how, I should tell you about myself. As you already know, my name's John Laurens. I'm tall, with green eyes and freckles. I am 16, and I haven't found my soulmate yet. In this world, you find your soulmate based on your hair. Your hair length relates to your soulmate's height. Your hair color is your soulmate's favorite color, and your hair texture relates to their gender. Most boys have curly hair, since most boys have female soulmates. If you have wavy hair, your soulmate is non-binary, gender fluid, etc. And as everyone knows, you can't change your hair. You can't hide your soulmate. Well...most people can't. But I can.
