Skye: I think it's time that we revealed our new way of dueling.

Akira: Why is that?

Skye: Now that a new summoning technique has introduced, LDS will try to add it and that will just raise its popularity.

Akira: Declan hasn't found a way to Pendulum Summon. He probably won't.

Skye: What if he does? Our company will be farther in the background that it already is. It's time to show that we are in the duel game and show a summoning technique that no one but us can do.

[Akira sighs]

Akira: I guess you're right. It is time we came out of the shadows. So I guess you'll duel?

Skye: Of course. What's the status on the prototype?

Akira: It's ready.

Skye: Then let's do this.

Akira: Who are you challenging?

Skye: I was thinking the Sledgehammer. The duel that he lost wasn't for the championship. I'll challenge him for his title. He probably has a lot of anger. He'll take it out on me. That will make it even better when I beat him.

Akira: Are you sure you can beat him?

Skye: Of course. I learned from the best.

Akira: Of course you did.

Skye: (Thoughts) Sorry, bro, but I'm not talking about you.

[The duel was set up. The Sledgehammer was going to be challenged by a mystery duelist who claims to have another summoning technique. The Sledgehammer was given a week to master the new way to duel. The day of the duel then came. The stadium was packed. JP, Yuya, and Zuzu got tickets]

Yuya: It's too bad Skye couldn't come.

[JP just sighed. He knew what was going on]

Zuzu: You okay, JP? You look kind of out of it.

JP: I'm fine.

[The announcer announced that the following duel would be like any other that anyone had ever seen. The Sledgehammer was introduced and the crowd cheered. But then the mystery duelist was introduced]

Announcer: The person challenging the champion is a girl who has a goal to steal your heart. Please welcome: Blue Angel!

[A girl with blue hair and a blue outfit arrived on a duel board]

Blue Angel: Hello, everyone! My name is Blue Angel and I got a special show just for you!

[The crowd cheers loudly. Especially the boys and the young girls. The announcer said the following duel would be a new duel called the Speed Duel. He explained all of the rules. Then it was time for the main event]

Announcer: Let's get this duel underway!

Sledgehammer: Blue Angel, I'm glad to have someone for me to take my anger out on.

Blue Angel: Aww. We've just met and you're already mad at me? I'll show you why to not mess with me!

Blue Angel/Sledgehammer: Let's speed duel!

Turn 1- Blue Angel

Blue Angel: Ladies first in this duel! It's my turn! I'll start by activating my field spell: Trickstar Light Stage! This field spell allows me to add a Trickstar to my hand! She's someone I'm allowed to automatically summon! Say hello to Trickstar Lilybell!

Trickstar Lilybell: Level 2- 800 ATK/ 2000 DEF

Blue Angel: Now since all of my monsters are Trickstar, I can summon Trickstar Corobane!

Trickstar Corobane: Level 5- 2000 ATK/ 1000 DEF

Blue Angel: That Yuya boy may have introduced a new summoning technique but I'll show you the real newest summoning technique! I'll build the circuit that turns dreams into reality!

[The circuit appears and everyone gasps. JP just smiles]

Yuya: She can Link Summon?

Blue Angel: The summoning conditions are two Trickstar monsters! I set Trickstar Lilybell and Corobane in the Link Arrows! Link the circuit! I Link Summon! Appear, Link 2 Trickstar Holy Angel!

Trickstar Holy Angel: 2000 ATK/ Link-2

[Everyone gasps. JP just smiles]

Blue Angel: Now I summon Trickstar Candina in ATK Mode!

Trickstar Candina: Level 4- 1800 ATK/ 400 DEF

Blue Angel: Since this monster was summoned next to Holy Angel's link, you take 200 LP of damage!

Sledgehammer: 4000 LP - - -> 3800 LP

Blue Angel: That then activates my field spell's effect! You take another 200 LP of damage!

Sledgehammer- 3800 LP - - -> 3600 LP

Blue Angel: Now I like my Candina but I'm going to activate my new monster's ability from my hand. I can switch her out! Say hello to Trickstar Lycoris!

Trickstar Lycoris: Level 3- 1600 ATK/ 1200 DEF

Blue Angel: Now I'll end my turn with a facedown! You're up!

Announcer: The challenger has introduced a new summoning technique and summoned a new type of monster? Does the champion have what it takes to win?

Turn 2- Sledgehammer

Blue Angel: 4000 LP/ Sledgehammer- 3600 LP

Sledgehammer: My turn. I draw!

Blue Angel: You just triggered my monster's ability! When you draw a card, Lycoris's ability deals you 200 LP of damage!

Sledgehammer- 3600 LP - - -> 3400 LP

Blue Angel: This then activates my field spell and you lose another 200 LP!

Sledgehammer- 340 LP - - -> 3200 LP

Blue Angel: This was your turn right? I'm sorry for interrupting!

Sledgehammer: Even with your new summoning technique, you will not beat me! I activate the spell: Feast of the Wild LV5! This allows me to special summon up to 2 Level 5 WARRIOR monsters! I special summon: Swamp Battleguard and Lava Battleguard!

Swamp Battleguard: Level 5- 1800 ATK/ 1500 DEF

Lava Battleguard: Level 5- 1550 ATK/ 1800 DEF

Sledgehammer: I now sacrifice them both to summon: Battleguard King!

Battleguard King: Level 8- 3000 ATK/ 1100 DEF

Sledgehammer: Your monster is weaker then my monster! Battleguard King, attack and destroy her monster!

Blue Angel: Sorry but you aren't destroying anything! Trap card, open: Mirror Force! Your attack is deflected back to you and your monster is destroyed!

Sledgehammer: No!

Yuya: She saw it coming!

Sledgehammer: Hmph. I end my turn with a face down.

Nico: The champion summons a strong monster and attacks but it backfires! How will the challenger respond?

Turn 3- Blue Angel

Blue Angel- 4000 LP/ Sledgehammer- 3200 LP

Blue Angel: Time to end this! My turn! I draw! I activate the spell: Trickstar Magical Laurel! This lets bring back one Trickstar monster from my Graveyard! Welcome back Trickstar Corobane! This spell then equips to this monster! Now since I summoned a monster next to Holy Angel's Link, you lose another 200 LP!

Sledgehammer: 3200 LP - - -> 3000 LP

Blue Angel: Then my field spell activates!

Sledgehammer: 3000 LP - - -> 2800 LP

Blue Angel: This then powers up my Holy Angel's ATK equal to the monster effect damage you took! Holy Blessing!

Trickstar Holy Angel- 2000 ATK - - -> 2200 ATK

Blue Angel: Now I summon Trickstar Candina in ATK mode! Like before, she lets me add a Trickstar card to my hand! I draw! I got the card I wanted! I activate the spell: Trickstar Bouquet! By returning Trickstar Candina to my hand, my Holy Angel gains Candina's ATK!

Trickstar Holy Angel- 2200 ATK - - -> 4000 LP

Announcer: That's one strong monster! Looks like this duel is over, folks!

Blue Angel: This is the grand finale! Holy Angel, attack directly and end this duel!

Sledgehammer: Ahh!

Slegdehammer: 2800 LP - - -> 0 LP

Winner: Blue Angel

[The duel ends and the crowd cheers]

Blue Angel: That's how you stay blue, everyone!

[JP watches the duel and just smiles. Blue Angel flies by him and gives him a wink. JP blushes and Zuzu growls]
