"Cy!! C'mon! We got it started!" Veronica's loud and perky voice echoed throughout the house.

Cywren rolled her eyes, messing with the seem of her white t-shirt and denim skinny jeans.

She sprinted down the stairs, almost falling because of the hardwood stairs and her neon pink socks.

"Okay, ViVi, what is it?" She asked, looking at the ginger who was messing with the Wii.

"You, me, and the boys are gonna play Just Dance!" Veronica yelled while throwing her Wii-Mote to her boyfriend, Davey, who was slouching on the couch.

Cywren arched an eyebrow.

"And you decided this... Because..?" She asked, looking at the three other people in the room.

Veronica. Davey. And Cywren's crush, Timebomb.

"Cy! We are freshmen going into college! Loosen up! Live in the moment! C'mon!" Veronica exclaimed with her arms flailing in the air.

She laughed, shrugging her shoulders as she fell back on the couch.

Next to Timebomb.

"Davey! Let's go!" Veronica yelled while I rolled my eyes and watched the couple.

"Can you dance?" Timebomb whispered while the others kept dancing.

"Depends what you mean by that. If you mean do something stupid and play it off like you were dancing. Then yes. Otherwise... No..." She whispered while they both quietly laughed.

"Don't worry. Just play it smooth," He said with a wink while she instantly became a flustered mess.

He stood up as Davey handed Timebomb his remote and Veronica handed Cywren hers.

They stood there for a while as Veronica yelled at how to get to the next dance. They were all laughing at how upset the ginger could get.

"You both ready?" Davey asked as he wrapped his arm around Veronica's shoulders.

"I guess," Cywren huffed out as the level began.

Cywren was tripping up towards the beginning as Timebomb had every move on beat. Eventually, she did get the hang of it, but then they had to do more complicated moves rather than repetitive.

There was sliding to the other side and spinning in circles.

With all the movement, they began getting into it. Basically the socks plus hardwood floors equals bad.

Cywren slipped, began falling, but was caught by Timebomb's arm wrapping around her back. She looked up at him, blushing to no end.

Then time seemed to have frozen. No one moved. No one said anything. And the only noise was the TV.

"Are you just gonna look at her, Timebomb, or are you gonna do something?" Veronica asked from the couch with a smirk spread across her face.

Timebomb helped her up, but was also blushing. A lot.

"S-Sorry..." Cywren whispered, shaking from all the adrenaline rushing through her. She stood up and quickly walked out the door.

She took a deep breath directly after she closed the door. She ran a hand through her shoulder-length red hair.

She sat down on the first concrete step and placed her head on her palms.

Then she heard the door open.

"Look, Veronica, I knew you had good intentions but you kinda crossed the line with this one..." She muttered as a figure sat next to her.

"Nope. No Veronica here..." Timebomb's voice spoke from beside her, causing her to jump.

"Oh... Hey, Timebomb..." She whispered while blushing and looking up at him.

"Sorry about that..." He whispered, knowing what was on her mind.

She loves it when he does that...

"You're fine... And you really don't need to be sorry..." She whispered the last part quietly.

But he heard.

"And what do you mean by that, Cy?" He asked, scooting himself closer to her.

"That you don't need to apologize..." She whispered.

"No, the last part?" He asked while she blushed.

"W-What are you talking about?" She stuttered while he rolled his eyes.

"I heard what you said," He said while she blushed even more than she already was.

"A-About what?" She whispered, practically glowing red at this point.

"About me not needing to be sorry," He said, smiling slightly at her flustered reaction.

"I-I..."

She stopped when she felt one arm snake around her back and the other underneath her knees. He lifted her off the ground and moved her onto his lap.

"T-Timebomb..?" She whispered, blushing every possible color of red.

"Shh..." He whispered while placing his index finger over her soft lips.

After a little while she had her head resting against his shoulder as he was stroking his hand through her hair.

She needed this.

She wanted this.

She had for a long time.

"Thank you, Timebomb..." She whispered before falling asleep in his arms.

He smiled as he planted a kiss on her forehead.

"You're welcome..." He responded, placing his head on hers.
