Inspired by: The fact that I want to procrastinate doing my homework and/or social interaction... Oops...

Timebomb glared down at the notecard he had looted from a dead scavenger.

Apparently this man was an assassin working with a larger team.

Take Cywren Caster alive. I want her. Also the one they call Veronica. Get her too... They're both useful to me. I would rather them be alive but dead is fine with me as well...

They had succeeded. The rest of this strange group had taken Cywren and Veronica and left Davey and Timebomb to their guilt.

"Damn it! You find anything yet, Timebomb?!" Davey yelled, looting a soldier that he had killed.

"Uh... No... We need to go, though. They'll be back for us. And if we get killed who will save the girls?" He asked as Davey nodded.

"You're right... Let's get out of here and see where the Wastes take us..." He said while pulling out his revolver.

"Let's split up... We'll cover more ground that way..." Timebomb said while Davey nodded in agreement.

They split up, both going opposite directions. Timebomb heading East and Davey heading West.

Days and nights of no rest and constant motion was the only thing Timebomb went through. The only reason he kept moving was because he had Cywren on his mind. Constantly...

He had found many bandits and Deathclaws and wiped them all out.

Eventually he found a valley, and he could already tell it was packed with enemies.

He glanced around skeptically before hearing gunfire, a shrilled scream, and a voice yell to another individual.

"STOP! JUST LEAVE US ALONE!"

  Veronica.

He kicked it into high gear, sprinting up the side of the valley, then looking through the scope of his sniper rifle.

There sat two gingers, tied back-to-back to two chairs. Both their feet and wrists bound.

"When they get here they will tear you to shreds..." Cywren barked quietly, causing the leader to chuckle lowly.

"Oh, but Ms. Caster, I believe it is you they will be tearing to shreds..." He said, smirking at Cywren and walking away, causing anger to shoot through Timebomb's veins.

  What is this guy planning?

Timebomb slowly snuck down into the valley when everyone had left. He landed directly in front of Veronica, causing her expression to light up.

"Timebomb!" She yelled, making Cywren turn her head.

They both stared at him in amazement. He was really there. He really came.

"Okay, I'm getting you out and then we're out of here..." He whispered, pulling out Davey's switchblade and sawing off the ropes.

After a few minutes Veronica was up and Timebomb was cutting Cywren's wrists loose. As soon as her hands were free she immediately wrapped him in a hug, burying her face into his shoulder.

"Thank you..." She mumbled as he smiled.

"You're welcome..." He answered, pulling away and cutting her feet free.

"Yes... Thank you, Sir, for making my job one step easier..." A loud voice boomed from behind Timebomb, causing him to point the end of his gun at the man.

"Who the hell are you?" Timebomb asked, glaring this man down as Cywren stood behind Timebomb.

"Me? Oh, I'm Zeke. The one responsible for this whole situation... Nice to meet you..." He said, looking at Timebomb with a smile.

"What do you want from us?!" Veronica yelled, getting quite impatient.

"Ah, yes. I have a game for you. It's called 'The Most Important Choice'," Zeke explained.

"Why would we want to play a game with a kidnapper?" Cywren asked as Timebomb locked his hands behind her back, caging her in his arms from behind him.

"Because it's fun! Well, for me..." He said with an evil grin.

"Okay... Well... What do you want us to do?" Veronica asked.

"Simple... Mr. Timebomb here picks which girl he wants to live... And which one he's willing to shoot between the eyes..."
