Luz made it back to the Owl House.

"Hi, Luz!" Hooty shouted with a smile.

"Hey, Hooty." Luz said with a wave.

Luz walked in, seeing Eda with a bottle.

"Oh, you're back." Eda said, "Guess I'm done with the liquor."

Eda corked the bottle and put it in her hair like it was storage space.

"What did you just do?" Luz asked.

"I put a bottle of liquor in my hair." Eda said simply.

'And suddenly pulling my face off doesn't seem so weird.' Luz thought.

"So, how was the visit to Lily's house? The Blight kids treat you right?" Eda asked Luz.

"Yeah, it wasn't bad but at the same time, it wasn't all.....good either." Luz said to Eda.

"That sums up my experiences with Lily." Eda said.

"Luz, you're back." King said with a smile, rushing to her.

He climbed up and sat on her head.

"I didn't miss you at all."

"Hehehehe of course you didn't." Luz said as she walked to the couch and sat down, putting King in her lap.

"We both did, metal head." Eda said as she sat down. "So, anything else you want to do today or do you just want to power down or whatever you do?"

"Yeah, do you have a power cord or something?" King asked.

"I'm not that much of a computer. I don't have a cord."

'How's my power cell doing?' Luz thought.

"Power levels are optimal and stable." The nanobots said to Luz.

'Even after the emergency shut down?' Luz thought to her nanobots.

"This isn't like the first time." The Nanobots said.

'Still, keep an eye on it. The magic manipulation may either help it or drain it faster.' Luz thought to her nanobots.

"Should we engage your solar recharge?"

'No, I'd rather they not see that. Besides, I haven't needed that for a couple years.'

"Luz? Can you hear me? You sort of spaced out." Eda said to Luz, snapping in front of her face.

"Oh! Sorry, I was thinking to myself." Luz said, "I've had a bit of a day and need to go relax a little."

"Well in that case, watch some crystal ball with us. I've got a show I think you'll love." Eda said.

"Really?"

"Oh yeah, you'll love it." Eda said as she grabbed the remote and turned to the channel.

At the Castle, Nathan was walking around, trying to figure out what to do. The news of his daughter being on the isles was bad enough but to be almost fully robotic?! It was even worse than he feared.

"What if she succumbs to it and become fully robotic." He asked, "Had I known this would happen... no, I still would've done it, it saved her life."

'But if she's really 80-90% robotic, that means her heart and brain could be the only proof of her humanity left.' Nathan thought.

"What have I done?"

"You saved your daughter's life from what I was told."

Turning around, Nathan saw that the Golden Guard was standing behind him. He must've been rambling in worry too loudly and caught his attention.

"Yeah, and now she's at risk of losing herself." Nathan said.

"Why do you think that? As long as her heart and brain are the same, isn't that enough?" He asked Nathan.

"Logically yes but it's more about the human spirit or soul if you're confused." Nathan said to him.

"Yeah... don't really know much about that." Golden Guard said.

"My point is that I worry Luz will become a mindless automaton. Okay hat she won't have that spark of humanity and light." Nathan said.

"I doubt that will happen."

"How so?" Nathan asked him.

"Cause from what you've told us, she's too bright to let herself become fully robotic." Golden Guard said.

"I hope you're right."

"You know, before you were brought here, Uncle was certain his curse of his was going to kill him." Golden Guard said, "If it wasn't for a stray newspaper finding its way to the Isles, he never would've decided to use Titan's Blood to make a temporary portal to get you. Because of you, he has regained his sanity... maybe you should keep in mind how much help you actually do before you start thinking about the harm."

Golden Guard left and Nathan looked out a window of the hall, in the exact location of the owl house where his daughter was staying.

"Please stay safe." He said.

Later, Luz entered her room and laid down.

"Enter sleep mode." Luz said.

"Hold on, you're mailbox is full." The Nanobots said, "They all seem to be from your mother."

"I figured mom would try to reach me. Display message board." Luz said as her eyes projected a holographic message board, containing all of her missed calls and messages from her mother.

"... Play... messages."

Luz didn't want to but a part of her had to, she could only guess how worried her mother was for her after she just up and left home. The first one began to play.

"Luz... Mija... please come home. I... I didn't mean to chase you away."

Luz felt her heartstrings pull at this, hearing the distress in her voice.

"... Delete... messages." Luz said, trying not to cry.

"Luz, are you sure?" The nanobots said to Luz.

"Yes...please. I'm not ready." Luz said as she leaked some tears, a clear liquid fluid solution.

"Deleting Messages." The Nanobots said, "Any request for your dream sequence tonight?"

"Something... something happy." Luz said.

"Understood, entering sleep mode."

Luz laid down on the floor and shut her eyes, feeling a happy dream sequence come to her mind thanks to her nanobots.
