Eda, Amity, and King watched in horror as the crusher slammed on Luz. The room grew silent, not even breathing could be heard. From the control room, Odalia smirked at a job well down while Alador looked away.

'Good riddance.' Odalia thought.

"Well, why don't we see the result." Odalia said, pressing a button and making the crusher lift.

Eda, King, and Amity saw a mangled mess of blood and oil. Wires and metal bones. Sparks came out of Luz's twitching neck.

'A... activate... Healing... protocol.' Luz thought, 'Level... 5.'

"Affirmative." The Nanobots said.

It would put Luz into a comma, but it was her strongest repair method. She made sure there was a recorded message to let Eda know about it while she was out.

"Healing and repair cycle initiated. Estimated time: 6 days, 8 hours, and 27 minutes." The message played aloud, making them all breath again.

"Healing?" Amity asked, slowly crying tears of hope. "S-She's going to be okay?"

"We need... we need to get her out of here." Eda said.

Eda made a teleportation spell and brought them all to the Owl House. In the control room, Odalia rubbed her chin. Things just got more interesting.

"She's not fully human?" Odalia asked out loud as she rewound the camera feed and zoomed on Luz's broken body. "Alador, look at this. She's got metal and wires inside of her, and there's oil mixed with her blood."

"Oil mixed with blood?" He asked as he looked, very interested by this. "It doesn't seem possible yet it is, she appears to be half mechanical. Possibly more than half. I've never seen or heard of such a being."

"We could use her." Odalia said, "We need to get her, she could become our newest weapon."

"I highly doubt she would do that willingly." Alador said.

"Then we'll mess with its mind, make it believe it truly is our weapon." Odalia said, "If all else fails, we'll smelt her and reuse her for our new projects."

"Hmmm, I suppose." Alador said, still hesitant but interested in studying Luz.

"Good, now, we need a plan to kidnap her." Odalia said.

At the Owl House, Eda put Luz's twisted body on her sleeping bag. She tried to use her magic to straighten it out a bit but stilled when she thought that could hurt Luz more than help her.

"Here you go, kid. You're safe. Everything's going to be alright." Eda said, unsure if Luz could hear her, "I... you didn't need to do that. I would rather die than let you get hurt."

Eda began to cry as she held back her sobbing, King didn't bother as he was crying his eyes out and blubbering in the doorway.

"She'll... she'll be fine." Eda said, "That voice said so."

"A-Are you sure?" Amity asked, crying from worry of her closest friend.

"Yeah...I have to be. Luz is unlike anyone I've ever met and I know that she's not gonna die from something like this." Eda said as she closed Luz's eyes for her. "We have to have faith that those things in her body are gonna fix her up good as new."

Amity nodded.

"Y-y-yeah... I... I have to get home."

Eda nodded to the young blight as she got up and to need to Amity.

"I'll take you home." Eda said to her.

Eda grabbed her staff.

"King, make sure nothing happens to Luz." Eda said to him while guiding Amity out.

"O-Okay." King said with a nod.

He looked at Luz.

"Please... please don't die." He said, putting his hands on her, "I don't want to lose you."

Though it wasn't pretty, King stayed with Luz for as long as he could and hoped him being there would help. Eventually he had to go clean the blood and oil off his hands. As he left, King didn't notice that the blood and oil had finally stopped leaking from her body as the nanobots sealed all of the exit wounds.

"Leakage has been stopped, beginning bone repair." The Nanobots said, moving to her metal spine, "Appling metal alloy and then fixing the wire nerves."

The nanobots spread and multiplied through our Luz's body to apply the allow and repairing wire nerves plus anything else in Luz's damaged state. Bones, organs, tissue, anything and everything. It would take days, but it would be important to keep her alive. Thankfully, the very first thing the nanobots did was protect the heart and reinforce the skull to protect the brain. Those were the most important parts of Luz, not just as vital points but as signs of Luz's humanity. If they went, then Luz would die, not just physically, but she would lose herself. As they got to work in saving Luz, Eda was flying Amity back to Lilith's manor as the young blight as still crying her eyes out. Eda landed and Lilith rushed out.

"What happened!? Why is Amity crying!?" Lilith demanded.

"Bitchy mcthicc thighs happened." Eda said.

"Odalia?!" Lilith shouted as she rushed to check Amity for any injuries. "What did she do?! Are you alright?!"

"I-I'm fine. B-B-But Luz..." Amity said between her tears.

"What happened to her?" Lilith asked.

"She was crushed by an industrial crusher." Eda said, wiping a few tears of her own away so Lilith doesn't see, "She survived... just barely."

"C-C-Crushed?!" Lilith said in shock as Amity began to cry again, hugging her for comfort.

"Y-Yeah and her nanobots put her in some sort of, healing or repair period for a week." Eda said.

"She... she saved my life." Eda said.

"I-I see." Lilith said, thankful for Luz and picking Amity up in her arms. "I....I'll have to give her my thanks when she recovers."

'Nathan is going to be devastated when he hears this.' Lilith thought, only imagining how the father of Luz would react.

"You and me both. Also, keep an eye out for Dali. I don't know if she'll try anything again, either on me, you, or even Amity." Eda said with a glare, "She could be plotting something right now."

At the Owl House, Odalia smiled. She may not do a full-frontal assault this time, but she could sneak her way there.

'And with the house demon still unconscious and Edalyn away, I'm free to gather a sample for Alador.' Odalia thought as she practically walked right into the house. 'Nobody in the ground floor, Edalyn must be taking amity back to HER.'

Odalia went up the stairs and easily found Luz.

"There's my newest weapon." Odalia said.

Before she could do anything, the door closed.

"Get away from her." King said, holding a mace.

King jumped at Odalia and swung the mace, making her move back as it smashed the floorboards!

"Ugh! I forgot the rodent." She said aloud.

"Get out of our house!" King shouted at her.

"Oh, I will, but I'll be taking the robot with me." Odalia said.

"Luz is not a robot!" King shouted as he swung again, spinning like a top as Odalia continued moving back to avoid a broken leg.

"Listen you little... rat... dog... thing. I don't have time for this." Odalia said.

King screeched as he jumped into the air, reeling them mace back for a finisher.

"Die!" King shouted to her.

Odalia glared at King as she grabbed her necklace, summoning a spirit to rush at King and knocked him out of the air! As King fell, Odalia did something she rarely does... she punched him. King was sent into, and through, the door. He was knocked out and Odalia smiled. She made a spell circle and disappeared with Luz.

"Luz..." King said with a groan.

King quickly fell unconscious, next thing he knew, he heard Eda calling his name. A sense of dread filled the air, a dread that would only get worse as King and Eda could only imagine what Odalia was going to do to Luz. In a discrete location, a place no one would find, Odalia placed Luz's broken body onto a table. Alador began looking over her, removing Luz's arm to look at it.

"I've never seen materials like this or seen metal and flesh perfectly fused together." Alador said, "She's an incredible creation. I almost feel bad for what I'm about to do."

Elsewhere, Eda was on the couch, crying at what happened when there was a knock on the door. Eda got up and scowled when she saw the Golden Guard.

"Edalyn Clawthorne, I am here-"

"If you're here to arrest me you might as well forget it, because I'm dealing with something." Eda said, trying her best to not kill this brat.

"I'm not here to arrest you, someone wants to speak with you."

He moved out of the way and another person walked up to her.

"And you are?" Eda asked.

"My name is Nathan... Nathan Noceda." He said, "I'm Luz's father."
