I feel warmth over my eyes... The sun must be beating down onto me. I'm guessing Fred opened the blinds to make sure I got up. He's probably mad about me being too tired yesterday to work on our project... I don't blame him. I'm a lazy fuck. "Ugh... I better just get up. Don't want to be late for work again." I open my eyes and the glare off of my window immediately stabs my retinas! "Gah! Stupid light!" I try to sit myself up on my arm, covering my eyes with the other. "Daren! You up!?" I hear Fred yelling from the other room. Most likely the living room, where our base of operations are set up. "Yeah! What do you need?!" I get up off the bed, sloppily getting the pair of pants I had on the floor and pulling them up, putting them on again. "Just saying that theres some coffee left if you want some!" "Thanks, Fred!" Freds my roommate, by the way. Were working on making a really good RPG for mobile, and were hoping our efforts make our work known. That way we don't have to have other jobs. "You're welcome!" I finish getting dressed, putting on a white plain shirt. It looks kind of boring honestly. But I didn't mind my looks all too much. But again, thats probably why I was picked on about them as a kid. I pick up my phone off the counter, that doubles as an alarm. Luckily today I didn't need it. I have some extra time this morning. I decide to check it for notifications and... Then a grim feeling came out. The only notification I got was an automated one from an app I haven't even opened yet... Randochat. Its supposed to be some kind of awesome social thing that helps you get friends and whatnot, but I'm honestly a little afraid to try it... I don't want to waste anyone else's time... The auto message just read "I miss u.." which I said out loud, rolling my eyes at the comment. Not only did it not spell you the way its meant to be spelled, but it didn't even put three dots or one. It just HAD to be two, which is honestly irking me to no end! I turn my screen off and shove my phone deep into my pocket, walking into the door. "Maybe I'll try it today... When I get home or something..." I close my eyes for a moment, thinking about how now without my family I'm practically alone. I only moved in this place a few months ago... Right now the only people I really talk to are Tim and Fred. Oh well, I guess it can't be helped. I open my eyes, and then turn the knob on the door.
