I'm telling you, Marvin, magic doesn't exist, there's plenty of evidence for it. You can't convince me otherwise.

What if I prove to you that magic exists and has been in our world for a very long time? - Marvin put his hands on his chest with a big smile on his face - Then you'll be cooking me dinner for a month.

Okay, I agree. But don't be surprised because I'm really hard to convince. - I looked at him leaning against the wall in his room.

Marvin smiled even more and turned his back on me. Saying something quietly under his nose.

Marvin POV

I smiled broadly, I know exactly what would convince him of my right about magic.

I quietly whispered a curse so that when he says the most words in a single sentence, he shrinks a few inches. Depends on how many words he says. By the way, I magically locked the door, luckily he didn't notice anything as the door was locked. Especially so that no one disturbs us.

Hey, Marvin, why do you need all these books, you don't believe that..?- He said.

(Y/N) looked at me and I saw it shrink a few centimeters, exactly 13 centimeters. I don't think he even noticed it was shrinking.

Yeah sure, anybody can write a book like that and come up with something like that, sorry but it doesn't work for me... - He shrunk a few inches again, this time I think he noticed when he tried to put the book on the shelf, when he couldn't take it off.

What the... it's not possible that I could have shrunk from so...?!- He turned towards me. He was a little scared, but he didn't want to admit it.

What's not possible, (Y/N)..? - I tilted my head to the side- Do you still think magic doesn't exist..?- I smiled more to the view in front of me.

Yes I still think so!! I'm probably just dreaming... and I'm actually sleeping in my own room..!!- He shrunk again and started to panic more.

I laughed a little to the stage in front of me.. he's really stubborn.. he looked like a 12-year-old now.

I walked up to him with my hands folded with a smile on my face- Oh, really? Then why do you think it's a dream when I can touch you...- I stood in front of him.

It doesn't mean anything!! It's just a dream or a very realistic dream! I don't know why you're in it but it won't change my mind. No, and period..!- When he said that, he shrunk to the size where he reached my knee.

It's not possible... It's just a dream...-- Come on, (Y/N)... this is official proof that magic exists... and no, it's not a dream if I can do it... - I crouched to be on his level of vision and held out my hand towards him. I grabbed him by the waist, not too hard to keep him from falling, and not too easy to keep him from dropping.

Hey! Hey! What are you doing!!! Leave me Marvin!!!- He tried to hit my arm, but it shrunk more. I laughed at him.

No... I don't agree with you.. I still think it's a dream!! If you think I'm gonna change my mind...?!!!- It started to shrink really fast was already smaller than my fingers. I could barely see him.

I heard he started crying for fear of what he couldn't understand, and then I let it go.

Okay, look, (Y/N).. I put the curse of shrinkage on you just to make you believe that magic exists, and you're the living proof of it. But when you'll still think magic isn't among us, you'll disappear completely... You'll be so small that even I won't be able to see you now though I'll say I can barely see you anymore.

I just want to hear these two simple words from you... - I smiled at him gently.

I... I believe you!! NOW I BELIEVE YOU!! AND I WILL BELIEVE FOR THE REST OF MY DAYS!! I'M ONLY BEGGING YOU TO STOP THIS!!- It started to shrink again this time I used magic and surprised the curse of the (Y/N) before it shrunk to the point where I could never see it again.

In the smoke, (Y/N) threw it to its normal size. I caught him so he wouldn't fall. His face was full of tears even though he could tell he was glad it was all over.

It was enough just, "I believe you" haha..- I laughed a little. (Y/N) just looked at me pissed.

This is not funny Marvin!!! It was terrible to be so small!! - he said rubbing his eyes from tears.

Yeah, I know. I'm sorry, but I'll tell you, you've been adamant for a really long time since you already knew I was right...- I patted him on the head.

You know I don't like it when you're right, but... yeah, I knew it, but I told myself it wasn't true...- He came up to me and hugged me and I hugged him back.

Next time I didn't believe you, don't do it... please...- he told me to hug me.

Next time I'll throw at you something other than shrink...
