Neil's pov

Everything is over now. I lost her for forever. Why why I couldn't try to understand her. Now I have to live without her but how can I live without my heartbeat. Avni is my heartbeat infact she is my whole life but now everything is over between us. But avni always remember that avni hai tabhi neil hai verna kuch nahi.

Now I will live with your memories until my last breath. I will miss you.

I parked my car outside of my house and went inside lifelessly. I had gone to avni after watching that video. And she said to me I can't back out from these marriage now. I had promised mithali that I will marry her no matter what.

This is my avni no matter how much I would do wrong with her she would always forgive me. On top of that now also she is thinking about mithali instead of herself.

Sighing I laid on the bed staring at the ceiling blankly. After tomorrow my life will become completely different. No matter what avni tumhari jagah ish dil mai aur kisi ko nahi milegi. Bohot der kardi na maine sach jaan ne main I am really sorry. Main apni baaki ki zindagi tumhe yaad karte hue aur tumhare liye tadap te hue katunga. Bas aap ( god ) se 1 choti si request he avni ke aakhon me kabhi bhi aasun mat aane dena usse hamesha khush rakha. My avni I love you and I will love you till my last breath.

Don't know when I dozed off remembering my avni. She is all over my mind.

Neil's pov ends

Next morning neil woke up with a throbbing head due to continuous crying previous day. A tear slipped down from his eyes remembering yesterday. He wiped it off and went to washroom. He splashed cold water on his face numerous times and looked himself in mirror. His eyes were blood shot red his hair messy and face was red.

He chuckled sadly looking at his own self in the mirror.

Neil: abhi to sirf kuch ghante hue hai aur mera ye haal hai, baaki ki zindagi mai tumhare bina kaise katunga avni.

He closed his eyes tightly in pain. Pain of losing his love once again. Pain of living without his avni. And much more.

Shweta came inside his room with a tray in his hand. Neil came out from washroom wiping his face with towel. After seeing him like this shweta kept her hand on her mouth.

Shweta: tillu tu thik hai na beta. Ye kya halat banake rakhi he.

Neil just nodded and sat on the bed. 1 hour passed but Neil didn't utter a word. Prakash came to him and put his hand on Neil's shoulder. Neil looked up to his father and smiled painfully. Prakash sat beside him and hugged him tightly trying to sooth his pain but he knew no matter how much he would try neil would never ever come out from this pain until avni don't come back in his life.

Neil also hugged him tightly sobbing in his arms like a child. Prakash let him cry.

Prakash: puttar koi zaroorat nahi he ye shadi karne ki. Tu avni se baat to kar.

Neil: ussi ne mujhe kaha ye shadi karne ke liye dad. I lost her because of my stupidity.

Prakash: isme teri koi galti nahi he neil.

Neil kept on crying until he left with no tears In his eyes.

Avni now decided to move to another city with mowgli because she knew if she would live here Neil will never move on in his life.

The marriage was done but whole time Neil was only remembering avni and his moments with her. He was chanting her name like a mantra in his mind.

Mithali smiled widely looking at him whereas he was sitting still giving no heed to her.

All were retired to their room. Neil changed his clothes and slept on a couch without sparing her a glance. Mithali felt bad looking at him sleeping away from her.

After sometime she also slept. Neil was awake staring at the wall infront of him. He took his phone in his hand and dialed avni's number. But avni didn't answer it. He again tried still she didn't answer it.

He Sighed and opened his phone gallery. He clicked on avni's picture and kissed it. After staring her photo for long time he dozed off dreaming about avni.

After 6 months.

Avni was running behind mowgli to feed him but he didn't stop and kept on running in the whole house. It was a small house but enough for both of them to live.

She hadn't told anyone about her moving to this home. Not even prakash. Only sunehri knew about it.

Other side Neil's condition was no less but the difference is he had slipped into depression now. His family tried a lot to make him better. But he worsened his health remembering only avni. From 6 month he hadn't seen her nor talk to her. Every day he woke up in a hope that today he could see avni but his hope died every day along with his heart.

Mithali gave him divorce 4 months ago. She also tried every possible way to at least make him understand but he didn't even talk to her nor even glanced at her once. Being heartbroken she left his house 4 months ago.

Today's his check up was scheduled in city hospital. Prakash took neil with him in his car. He always wears avni's mangalsutra in his wrist thinking avni na sahi to uski yaadein hi sahi.

They reached hospital and both got out from car. As soon as Neil placed his foot inside hospital a different kind of feeling embraced him. He closed his eyes taking the feel of this moment. He felt peace after so many days. He didn't want come out from his zone but prakash's voice broke his reverie.

They went inside and entered inside the doctors cabin but someone bumped into neil as soon as he opened the door of cabin. She was avni.

Neil's eyes filled with tears seeing her after long painful 6 months. He hugged her tightly and started sobbing in her arms.

Avni was shocked at first she bumped into someone and that someone was neil. And secondly he was crying and sobbing in her arms like a child.

Avni's heart broke looking at his vulnerable condition. She wrapped her hands around him crying with him. He pulled her more closer in his arms as if she would disappear if he leave her.

Prakash smiled looking at his son and daughter. His eyes fell on mowgli who was looking at his parents happily.

Prakash lifted him in his arms and kissed his forehead.

After what felt like ages neil broke the hug and cupped her face with his shivering hands. He joined their foreheads pulling her more closer if its even possible.

Doctor was also admiring there two due but it was her duty time so she clears her throat grabbing prakash's attention. While avni and neil were in their own world forgetting everything.

Prakash patted Neil's back and they came to their world. Avni looked at neil with teary eyes. He intertwined their hands and smiled at her. Prakash made him sit on a chair opposite to doctor. All this while he was only looking at avni and held her hand more tightly.

Doctor: mr Khanna aaj aapka session hai but I see aap ko ab uski koi zaroorat nahi he.

Avni looked at doctor confused. Sensing her confusion doctor says.

Doctor: Neil is in depression vo 3 mahine se mujhse treatment le rahe hai but unki halat mai koi faraq nahi aaya but aaj for the first time I have seen him happy. I don't know what problem is between you two but I will suggest you avni that please take care of him he needs you the most.

Avni started crying looking at neil. After talking with doctor for sometimes they came out from cabin.

Avni: papa ji aap mowgli ko apne saath le jayenge please.

Prakash nodded and went from there taking mowgli with him. He was relieved now as avni has come neil will surely overcome from his depression.

Avni took him to the cliff where they had met for the first time. She held neil hands in hers and started sobbing vigorously. Neil shook his head and hugged her tightly.

Neil: please jaan don't cry I can't see you crying you know na.

Avni held him tightly sobbing more and more.

After sometimes she detached herself from him.

Avni: ( crying) I'm sorry neil tumhe itna dard dene ke liye. I am sorry please forgive me. Agar mujhe pata hota ke tum ish halat mai to main

And she starts crying. His this condition was breaking her more and more.

Neil wiped her tears and cupped her face.

Neil: mujhe bas tum chahiye avni sirf tum mujhe kisi se koi faraq nahi padta. 6 mahine mene har pal har lamha sirf tumhare baare me socha he. Kabhi kabhi man karta tha ki khud ki jaan le lu kyun ki ish zindagi kya fayda jis me tum na ho par tumhara chehra mere aakhon ke saamne aa jaata tha. Avni ab maine bohot saza bhugat li tumhare bina jeekar ab mujhse aur nahi hoga please come back to me please verna main mar

Avni kept her hand on his mouth and shook her head.

Avni: esa kabhi mat bolna neil and I am really sorry. Main tumhe chod kar kabhi nahi jaungi.

Neil: promise

He asked like a child.

Avni: ayesha maa aur neela maa promise. Main kabhi tumhe chod kar nahi jaungi. I love you Neil.

She kissed his forehead and he closed his eyes feeling her warmth after ages.

Neil: I love you too avni. Avni hai tabhi neil hai verna kuch nahi.

They embraced each other forgetting the whole world.

And they lived happily ever after.
