The day was quiet and peaceful. Kokichi Ouma and Shuichi Saihara were walking together along the wet grass. As the two walked, Kokichi began to skip ahead.

"O-Ouma-Kun! W-Wait for me!" Shuichi cried, trying to catch up. Kokichi chuckled and turned around while continuing to run, "Nuh-Uh! Catch me if u can!"

Shuichi pouted, as Kokichi had turned this into a game of tag. Kokichi knew Shuichi hated this game because he'd always win. "Ouma-Kun! That's not fair!" Shuichi shouted.

"What fun would it be if it was?" He shouted back while laughing.

Shuichi had started to run a little faster, he wanted to win this time. He stretched his little legs as far as he could, but Kokichi was too quick. The chase seemed to go on forever, when Kokichi stopped. Because of the sudden pause, Shuichi couldn't stop himself in time. He ran straight into Kokichi, knocking them both onto the ground.

"I got you!" Shuichi cheered, his arms wrapped around Kokichi.

"That's only because I let you!" Kokichi teased, tapping Shuichi on the nose.

"You didn't have to stop," Shuichi complained, " I was so close to getting you anyway."

Kokichi got up and brushed off his knees, he held out his hand to help Shuichi up. He grabbed it and hopped to his feet. "Well that isn't the only reason why I stopped!" He cheered.

Shuichi tilted his head slightly in a confused manner. Kokichi then pointed him to all the multicolored flowers growing in the area.

"Wow! These are so pretty!" Shuichi smiled. Kokichi nodded, "I wanted to make you something!"

"Make me something? Out of flowers?" Shuichi asked.

"Uh huh!" Kokichi started to pick some white and blue flowers, Shuichi curiously following behind. Kokichi had gathered quite a few before sitting down. Shuichi sat next to him, hugging his knees to his chest.

"My mom showed me how to make these," Kokichi said as he began to weave the stems together. As his little hands worked, Shuichi watched excitedly, he wanted to see what his friend was making for him.

After a little while, Kokichi had finished. He held up his creation  triumphantly for Shuichi to see. "Do you like it?" He asked, carefully placing the flower crown on Shuichi's head.

"I love it!" He said, pulling Kokichi into a hug. Both boys started giggling as the fell back onto the floor. "Now teach me how to make one so I can give it to you!" Shuichi requested. Kokichi accepted, pulling both he and Shuichi up to look for more flowers.
