I found some illustrations with an art style I kinda dig on Canva and I decided to put them together to make a cover out of it. I think the fake story the premade cover tells is kind of cute and I'd check out a book that looked like that tbh. 

And yes, I know the stationary elements are not to scale in relation to each other - I actually have all of them irl on my desk, but this is my design world and I make the rules aka too unbothered to "fix" such details.

Tip: Every time you revise a design, you see it with new eyes and I think that's exciting. In two weeks, I'll look back at this design and see something that can be improved. So keep going, you'll improve - it just requires good practice & consistency.
